That would be so cool, if I were in the same situation as Daniel Radcliffe, to see a senior actor that I used to work with (especially one of my all-time favorites like Rickman) coming out to a show to support me. *sigh* Alan Rickman is so awesome xD

Daniel like other actors get bombarded by the media throwing a thousand and one questions, with the noise, flashing cameras it would be hard to concentrate on the questions being asked! And not to mention the long hours and sleepless nights!

Judging by his reaction I think it genuinely had slipped his mind for just a second. When you hear the words 'Potter Gang' I think you first picture Ron, Hermione and other pupils before the teachers come to mind.

Besides, what would he possibly have to gain by pretending he'd forgotten? It doesn't even boost his ego to do that, imo quite the opposite. Dan does actually seem a nice guy in reality.

he doesnt appreciate anything the older ones do for him like alan or gary. whatever. i dont care who yells at me about this comment either. i know so many actors who would die to have mentors like that., hes ridiculous. ive met alan and hes the nicest man imaginable, if i knew him like dan does id be so thankful. how could he forget that? maybe it was nerves... i hope. probably not since he feels entitled

Just my opinion :) I don't know him personally so i have no idea whats going on in his head, but I'm just saying a lot of actors would kill to have alan come to their play.

@stephy198920011 Ok, it may have slipped out of Dan's mind for one micro-second that Alan Rickman had come, but hey, he's human. I'm not the biggest fan of Dan's acting skills, but to say that he is unappreciative of the older Potter cast, is just blasphemous 'cos Dan is completely respectful of every adult actor who has been part of the Potter films. He has mentioned before that Alan recommended his own singing coach, and that Michael Gambon, Gary Oldman & Imelda Staunton helped him with Equus

@88narayandivya I just think it's fake... No one has solid "facts" because we don't know him personally, but I just think he comes off as fake and unappreciative. I know he talks about oldman a lot, but I don't believe that he really appreciates it deep down. That's just the feeling I get when I see him. Just a feeling. Not a fact. I never claimed to know him or to know for sure what's going on in his head. I'm just calling it how I see it personally from watching him speak etc. Thats all :)
