  • Mepps spinners are the most famous brand in the UK

  • @Britcenturion Not sure about the UK, but I know that the Vibrax are very popular in North America...God bless you, Italo

  • @hilololomoa Buzz Bombs work great, especially in deeper water for vertical jigging...God bless you, Italo

  • thank you sir finally a man who can get to the point while covering all the aspects without taking a year.

  • @highhopes32 You are welcome!...God bless you, Italo

  • Do you attach the snap swivel to the spinner or separate the snap swivel from the spinner with the floro line?

  • @jeffreylangham Good question. If I am fishing smaller spinners in clear water I normally tie the spinner direct to a fluorocarbon leader and use an "in-line" swivel about 20" up the line. If I am fishing ;larger spinners and especially in turbid waters, I often just use a snap-swivel at the spinner....God bless you, Italo

  • So i live near a river/ pond that has lots of weeds and rocks. but the trout and salmon run though August- September. The water is murky, but you can see the bottom when it rains. what do you suggest. please get back to me soon anyone. i saw the first Coho Salmon today.

  • @homefrontftw2 You have several choices of lure/presentation you can use. Spoons and spinners work well for Coho as well as jigs. I would suggest you use natural colors in silver/gold f the water is pretty clear and use fluorescent colors like chartreuse, hot pink, hot orange, if the water is murky...God bless you, Italo

  • @ItaloLabignan Thanks, the waters getting filtered, to clear it up. (its pretty weird what my town does to do that)

  • @homefrontftw2 I think that's a good thing...God bless you, Italo

  • hey, im fishing lake huron this weekend. any recommendations for deep lake?

  • @kitzyinthewind I would need to know where. You can fish shallow-weedy areas in Lake Huron and also cold, deep water. Species of fish and where you are planning on fishing will really dictate presentation and lures...God bless you, Italo

  • @ItaloLabignan i used to fish shallow but now that i have a new boat i want to try some deep water fishing. should i just go with a downrigger with a spoon?

  • @kitzyinthewind You can ue downriggers if you want to catch salmon & trout, or you can also use diving devices such as the Dispsey Diver to get your lures down 30-50'. It really depends on where you want to fish and what you want to catch...God bless you, Itlao

  • what do u recommend for some trout around 12 inches

  • @ExoticFisherman97 The two top lures are the Vibrax #1 spinner and the Rapala CD1 or CD3...God bless you, Italo

  • @ItaloLabignan alrite im gonna go get some thank you

  • @ExoticFisherman97 Good call, they also work great for big panfish...God bless you, Italo

  • im going fishing on saturday or sunday so i will get 1 before then i have all the tackle now

  • @Henrybailey1 Hope you catch some nice fish...God bless you, Italo

  • i took my fishing rod on holiday and i took the fly and i lost it i got the fly for free at a show

  • @Henrybailey1 Sorry you lost your fly...happens all the time...God bless you, Italo

  • that guy knows his bait,he must be a masterbaiter

  • In freshwater no other lure has come close to the blue fox, for me. I have had a 7+ lb. brown pick it up of a small snage in Lake Dillon, Co. I sometimes switch to something else for the "challenge" I always come back tho. To bad they don't work very well in salt water wher most of fishing is these days.

  • @bionicsjw I agree the Vibrax is tough to beat when it comes to catching trout in freshwater....God bless you, Italo

  • @legoman844 OK, don't forget to fish them slow and let the current do most of the work. to get them in front of the fish..God bless you, Italo

  • @legoman844 the dam closes from oct 30-to i believe feb but yes you can catch fish year round....lots and lots of good size smallmouth

  • @legoman844 If you are talking about the Niagara River, yes, there is good fishing there right now and you should be able to catch rainbow trout on these lures. They key is to havve good water-clarity. If the river is too murky, it will be tougher to catch fish....God bless you, Italo

  • don't you mean to call them rooster tails? 5 stars

  • @theswimer419 Rooster Tails are a spinner made by Luhr Jensen. In this sequence I hold up two Vibrax spinners (left), and a Metric Spinner (right)...God bless you, Italo

  • @ItaloLabignan I thought that Worden made the Rooster Tail?

  • @TimIguess You are right, my mistake. Worden makes the Rooster Tail and Luhr Jensen makes a spinner that looks identical called the Bang Tail...God bless you, Italo

  • @ItaloLabignan Yep, and Bass Pro has their own pretty much identical lure in their XPS Tournament line. Basically each Company has similar lures to another made by a different company to compete with them. It is mostly personal preference. They do work though.
