  • Don't hurt the baby!!!

  • that's feline asthma.. probably from being locked up in that closet all day hm

  • She's gorgeous!

  • probably has an upper respiratory problem....

  • cute!

  • Only the mother cats are suppose too pick up there babies like that... You shouldn't be doing that at all. You could hurt it.

  • What did your kitten have? Mine is doing that alot. :(

  • @sof0919 it's feline asthma

  • gorgeous kitten!

  • probably has asthma.but its so pretty

  • The kittens cute when it was picked up by the scruff, I know a cat when he was little, we picked him up like that and he curled up and brought his tail in between all his legs lol.

  • That is one of the most beautiful cats I have ever seen . . . :0

  • My cat sneezes sometimes, so, i think it's a hairball or something

  • She's cute. xD But, Idk what's up with the breathing. Asthma, sick, or in the process of coughing up a hairball?

  • gorgeous kitten!! :)

  • 0:32-0:36 UP.... AND DOWNN lol

  • People disliking this video has never owned a cat

  • she is so beautiful.

  • @MsJanielee When my cat had kittens, she picked them up like that all the time. So did my neighbors cats when she had kittens. Are you sure its not a normal thing??

  • That cat has the most beautiful eyesss

  • she sayd nom nom nom nom

  • My dog coughs the same way sometimes. it makes me left worried, and I then try to masaage a bit on her neck area until she is fine

  • I know you probably do not have the cat anymore, but it sounds like a cold. Maybe she/he had something in her nose. That is what my cat sounded like when she had her cold.

  • i think the kitten is sick or something, that noise she makes at first doesent sound normal. did she get checked by the vet?? also its good you helped the stray kitten out, i hope it all works out for her, she is very cute and beautiful

  • "OMG! That rub feels soooo good!"

  • i think there is a bird inside that cat xD

  • This sound it provokes a small assault of feline asthma

  • I think the cough sound was laughing. I believe cat's are ticklish on their bellies or, in the very least, sensitive. I've seen very few cats that will even let you rub their belly the way this one will.

  • lol it sounded like she was snorting. I think she was just to excited to get out a regular meow, or could have had a snot build up. Thank you for sharing. very cute kitten

  • maybe those are tickle sounds?

  • Hairball. :>

  • kitty has splendid eyes :x

  • not much

  • She sounds congested, and may have had a little cold. But I am glad she's all grown up and doing well!

  • Thats... weird. I wonder. Have you been at a vets for it? Thats expensive thought, but when you get it fixed ask the vet at the same time. Its probably nothing? lol, I have no friggin idea! Never heard that before, but I have had cats that made large high pitched noises when they awoke, so I guess its something like that.

Wait, this is a 3 year old video! :D Did you ever find out what it was?

  • If you mean that sound at 0:06 that is similar to a sound my cats make before vomiting :/

  • sounds like the owner making kissing noises at the cat

The cat's like: "Dude WTF! I'm trying to nap!" owner makes kissy noises, "sorry guy I don't swing that way."

  • If you think that it might have a health problem take it to a vet. That's what they're for.

  • you're a fool

  • I would like to know what those noises near the beginning are too, my 10 week olds are making that sound..

  • it might be calling it's mother...you know like pinguins or crocodiles make that wierd sound.

  • churping cat?!?! did she she/he swollow a bird? XD

  • cute! but this kitten looks like Chumley, the attack cat on youtube! :D

  • I hope she doesn't have some kind of respiratory problem...

  • That cat's face is precious. <3 So sweet

  • cute kitteh

  • was that a silent meow? (at the end)

  • probs a yaWN

  • looks like a yawn but it is a silent meow she used to do it quite often.

  • what the heck that kitty is so cute lol

  • nothing bad, very common.

  • It has scruff!

  • i have no idea wat the hell its doing. but all i know that the cat is cute as hell.:p

  • my dog does that! when we wake him up and llove him he starts making this hiccup noise

    i guess its normal =]

  • My cat does that, the vet says it's either reverse sneezing (as previously mentioned) or it's a hiccup that doesn't quite come out right. No cause for alarm as far as we know.

  • btw, i love how u picked it up and set it down! u did it so gently ^^. just as a mother cat would. your so loving to animals!

  • At the beginning, i think its just coughing. my cat does it a lot. nothing really serious, as of what i know.

  • Its so CUTE!!!!!!! I MUST HAVE THAT KITTY! lol ^^

  • Mean?? I took her in off the streets, fed her up as she was all skin and bones. Cleaned her up. Vaccinated, de-flea'd and re-homed her to a friend's house with lots of land for her to play in and another kitten that she has come best friends with. She has been named 'Dinky'. I'm sure Dinky thinks I am mean! You've obviously not had much dealing with cats, as anyone will tell u its fine to pick a kitten up by the scruff, and anyway I only had one hand! You are right though she is adorable!

  • wow, well i guess i consider it mean cuz my 5 cats scream and scratch at me if i pick them up like that, srry

  • thats how mom cats pick up their babies and since that is still a kitten it doesnt hurt them....However if you do it to an adult cat it pisses them off (as you have already found out)

  • @addorno2 Yeah. :> Older cats don't like it because it shows your the "dominant" one. I still pick my cats up like that though. I guess they know who's the boss. :P

  • @addorno2 Mom cats don't actually pick them up like that tho. They don't grab the skin like that as most people think, including me until I researched everything I could when my cat got caught. Well done you tho for having the heart to take the kitten in. There's many who'd have left it or tried to get rid of it. It's nice to know that there's nice cat friendly people out there. My neighbours cat makes wheezing/cough sounds but many tests show nothing wrong with him.Fit and healthy.

  • @addorno2 i do it to my cat and hes about a year and a half maybe two years old almost. it doesnt piss him off. but then again he knows better than to hiss or scratch when i have him :P

  • @stampy537 God bless u for what u did. She's lovely

  • @stampy537 Yeah as long as it is pretty young. I always did. But I guess it is best not to when it is getting used to not having a mom.

  • @stampy537 Not what I have heard at ALL. Only a kittens mother should pick it up that way, the kitten did not like it either it was comfy in it's basket. Next time use some sense and consideration and support it's bum at least.

  • @wakka759 mean?? why would he took her of the streets from letting the cat go by unnotice? and y would he be mean when he feed the kitchen while her body is skinny bones?? why would he be mean when he saves a poor kitten in a big world where there is so many strangers that doesen't like cats??? u call that mean???

  • Looks like mild "reverse sneezing" or Paroxysmal respiration - it's not actually sneezing but rather a spasm of the soft palate. It's more often found in dogs, but cats can suffer attacks as well - I have one that does. If she gets riled up or excited she'll sometimes reverse sneeze, I suspect your little one does the same when excited.

    as you say, excited,

  • Hmm..not sure. O_o Mabye it's clearing it's throat. if your really concerned, call the vet on the phone and ask them that way.

  • i don't see what's wrong

  • Just wondering what the strange coughing noise was near the beginning, she does it quite often. Never seen another cat do it before

  • @stampy537 my cat does it from time to time
