Yeah, they are the same fish. Up here they go by a few other names as well. Not the greatest fish, but definitely fun when you're looking for a good fight from the yak

You got some great videos!! I just bought a Trident 13 Angler and am waiting for it to arrive and it should be here Tuesday March 29!!!! I got the sonar unit, a Humminbird 597 ci hd di combo chartplotter. Can not wait to get out with it. I am going to get out on some local smaller bodies of water such as busse lake in elk grove, IL and beck lake to get used to it because I have never fished from a yak. Awsome vids!!!!! Can't wait to get out there.

u should try Lake Phelps in north carolina, good kayak and fisshing lake i got there about every year and its awesome. CHECK IT OUT!

nice fish! I fish up on Lake Champlain do you just hook and drop crayfish or do you use dropshot for the drum? Also, No.5 MEPPS Aglias Plain are absolute bass slayers. Gold, silver and Copper all work well.

Hey thanks for the tip on the No. 5 Mepps. As far as the crayfish...I usually tip them on a jighead or definitely set up a dropshot for them.

you should really look into some Boga Grip instead of the net for the kayak, they work great since when we fish we are so close to the water. Fish Yaker for Life!!

Took your advice...didn't go with the Boga since it's kind of pricey but the grippers have helped a lot!
