This was a good game, but I definately recoment mario kart 7 instead for...

*Better graphics-they are much more detailed and realistic. Plus its 3D!

*Cool new features-underwater levels and hang gliding! :D

*Controls improvements-circle pad is way better the d-pad

*Better wifi-extremely fun, plus communities are cool and new

*Better gameplay-something about it just seems way more fun then the ds version

*Kick ass rainbow road music!!!!!

mario kart DS looks like a game that could of come out on the N64, I wonder if Nintendo could of made a mario kart game that resembled mario kart DS play on the N64 with the same controls and everything.

Is it just me, or the prerelease demo had better graphics than the final release? I mean, the demo's items used the Double Dash sprites, but these were downgraded for the final release. Also, look closely at the bottom screen. The boxes that tell what place you're in look more rounded.
