depends what style you want to play, an sg is a fantastic guitar, well suited to rock and heavy rock, and has a real grunt behind it, whereas a les paul can play virtually any genre of music and sound great. both guitars are great in their own respect, the gibson models are the best

I like Gibsons alot but I prefer Ibanez because they are more built for quick solos and incredible shreding. I also liek Startocasters. They're easy to customize and play all types of music.

watching this video, i noticed that there were a few guitars that were not Gibsons, like i saw a richenbaker, and a jackson, and some others too... over all i liked the video though. i have a Gibson SG Special worn brown. and a Gibson Firebird VII. i never would have settled for anything less than a gibson, even if epiphone is a branch of them, they're still not made in america, and there's just something wrong with that.

yeah there was a strat in there to, I used them because they used the Gibson models or guitars that resembled Gibson guitars. They just supped them up a little. At heart a flying V will always be a flying V. I used them because it also shows how Gibson has inspired other companies.

hey i wanna no wat u guys think is the best out of zakk wylde epiphone bullseye or a gibson les paul studio i wanna play anythin from led zepplin to ozzy and some metal stuff

The Gibson will always win sound wise. Epiphone is a branch of Gibson so they are very similar. I personally don't care for the zakk wylde. Play some high notes and you could give someone an epileptic seizure. To me the Les paul studio is one of the best guitars I have ever played. If your into death metal a les paul might not "fit in" as well. I mean a black les paul goes good with everything from blues to metal, but it depends on your taste. I say go with the Studio Gibson if you got the money

i got an sg last year i went in looking at les pauls and somehow ended up buying an sg and couldnt be happier with it

i have 2 buddies who have gibsons and i have a epiphone. the main difference are the electronics are in an epi, they are good but not like a gibson. i rewired my epi and put in some duncan alnico ii's and right now i dont see a big difference tonewise but i do have a way better amp then both of them. if anything get the gibson vintage mahogany studio. one of my buddies has it and its way warmer. but either epi or gibson dont get the zakk wyle. u dont want to get some1 elses guitar

Hell im gonna buy the les paul standard bass for (if you count it in dollar) about 3k dollar. yes thats what it costs in europe. that ltd version from 2007 i think it is.. and im 15, gonna be 16 when i buy the bass though...

Great video, Gibson is the greatest. I own a les paul studio with tobacco sunburst and custom tremolo arm. Gibson being all over GH3 proves it. Its my joy and pride. What song is this BTW?
