  • I saw this movie in my 7th grade social studies class and enjoyed it immensely! the actors were absolutely brilliant and it was well thought out! I Knowles a sad part, but ts one of my favorites, the part where David Crockett is about to die, and he tells Santa Anna, "Beware, I'm a screamer." the actors is awesome!

  • Texans are not gay!

  • texans are gay

  • mexicans dont evan look like thos ugly americans actors

  • VIVA MEXICO!!!!!!!!!GOD BLESS AMERICA:)and MEXICO :)

  • Doess anyone know the flue song that is played at the sunset the night of the Fall Of The Alamo.???

  • OMG I love this movie I saw this in my TX History class. I like the guy who played as Travis.

  • @ILiebeKriegs11 the thing is. Most of the movie is bullshit. Santa Anna won in the Alamo with soldiers not trained. Then Santa Anna was stupid and went to San Jancinto and loose. Thats the real story im not lying. search for that

  • ilove this movie isaw it in tx history nd iloved it igt an A cause iremembered im weird

  • \@TheLeslybieber are your in mr.meredith's class at southmore intermidiate.

  • chupenme un webo gringos

  • I hate Hollywood, they always change the true thing to make it interesting to the audience and then everybody believes it was the way the watched in the movie. The US won the war against Mexico because the Mexican heroes in Mexico were fighting each other when suddenly the American army was taking over Mexico for stupid excuses. Mexicans just tried to protect their freedom and land but it was too late. By the way I am not Mexican before u start arguing or insulting.

  • @COSPIRACYS actually it not the american it texas and texas was country still the san antonio area was under mexico countrol santa anna the president of mexico let his son in law control the land and it was second of mexico largest city but than san antonio fought with santa anna's son in law and he lost the land and forfeit santa anna was mad and angry at his son in law and surround san antonio with his thousand of soldier giving them days to get ready recruit soldier and trapped in alamo

  • @COSPIRACYS first of all it texans not us texas was still a country second of all san antonio was where it happen and the people of san antonio attack santa anna son in law who was in control of san antonio because santa anna let him have control of his land and he lost the land and forfeit than santa anna get angry and surround san antonio

  • @ryan4152 OK I would like you to give me an official reference of that. I don't believe what random people say on internet. Furthermore, thats what you have been told, in Mexico they have their point of view. Did you know about (Niños Héroes) the kids that were massacred by the Americans and then one of them roll the mexican flag on himself and committed suicide so Americans didn't take his beloved flag? That would be interesting if it was in this movie. What US did is "called invasion".

  • @COSPIRACYS not invasion mexico was the one that invaded san antonio was there land not mexico because santa anna son promise not to attack them and gave them the land and they invaded them

  • @ryan4152 well History books and Geography say that Texas was Mexico. The indigenous disliked the Mexican government and then the Mexican government wanted white people in Texas to calm the indians cause they couldn't do so, then they decided that they did not like the US neither Mexico so they wanted to be a country, not just Texas. Yucatan state supported the Texan idea. Then the US helped Texas to separate. As an excuse, Americans invaded Mexico taking over california oregon utah etc

  • @ryan4152 and actually southerns wanted all of Mexico for themselves so they could continue with slavery. Fortunately, Lincoln decided not to do so. Lincoln did not want slavery and his nation go out of control so he decided that taking the land they got was more than enough. Thats the story and its not an opinion, you can read the unfinished nation by Alan Brinkley and it is not a British book it is American. By the way, all books say invasion of Mexico nothing about that story u say.

  • Hahaha its amazing how americans always find a way to make themselves the victims in every conflit they start lol

  • @enigma181886 True, I'm an American and I agree with you. Most of our conflicts were of our own doing. World War 2 was a major exception though.

  • "without experience in war"??? WTF? These Kentuckians,Tennesseans, and TEXIANS had more experience in weapons than all of the Mexican soldiers. What a load of crap. Also, the Alamo was the most fortified building between Mexico City and The USA. Americans need to stop creating fantasies and stick to the reality of life. But then again, the are USAs so the world must listen to their lies (which are quite common). Peace

  • @shinyguts actually some of them had no experience at all but beasting it like a level 100 in a shooting game o:!

  • please anyone who know the title of song starting from 3:03 to 3:20, ive been searching it for years, really appreaciate your help!

  • @yuusuke It's from Vangelis - 1492 (Conquest of Paradise)

  • @DukeFanGermany thanks a million DukeFanGermany :D

  • 1:20 They face one of the greatest army ever assembled

jup american movie, army of some thousands of men come on already from the roman ages it where army's of 50 000 mens, like in the medieval and in 18th century during the napoleon ages it where army's of 500 000 men, during the world wars armys of million of mens

  • @turner2123 Your English is terrible, no wonder you didn't understand. It was "thousands of soldiers FROM one of greatest armies ever assembled".

And even if it was how you say, numbers alone don't determine greatness.... Genghis Kahn was the greatest conquorer in history, creating an empire 3x the size of the Romans at their peak... and he was outnumbered every single major battle he faced. Sometimes as much as 30-1.

  • @DKOPness yes but what have the Mexicans done in the past to desire the title ONE OF THE GREATEST ARMYS, well not much

ps: but to give the americans more glory then they deserve its handy to call them GREAT, dont understand me wrong i love the US but just

  • to all you haters get a life because this movie is incredible and very pretty its rated pg-13 for violence some language and intense battle sequences and for um uh hmm honestly i cant remember anything else oh yes and action

  • ya its the intro

  • Isn't this song from Gladiator

  • This movie is so underrated. Haters can go screw themselves.

  • @F14ace I know. I really don't get what the critics have against it.

  • i know that music at 2:32 i saw it on a discovery education video about the alamo btw james bowie was a drinker so he was dying during these 13 sieged days of waiting until dawn march 16 1836

  • como se llama la cancion q suena en la 2° parte del trailer por favor si alguien sabe!

  • santa anna como pancho villa les patearon el trasero.

  • It is amazing to me that even after all this time the bravey and resolve of 184 subborn minded texians still Captavates our imaginations. I am descended from one of the men who fought here and am proud to say it

  • no you're not lol

  • this movie has the same history accuracy as a pile of goat shit..........just gringo bullshit

  • @adriancho07070707 thats why its called a movie it doesnt have to be accurate like 2012 its a movie

  • @U235Videos Yes, but 2012 didn't happen. This did. It only has 1 or 2 factural errors!! :)

  • @The2004Alamo true and for the believers of 2012 i will say not yet

  • i used to live in San Antonio, it is now a huge city full of many beautiful places. i'm a californian but san antonio is a place i suggest many go visit

  • In terms of historical accuracy, this is just about spot on. Not a bad flick either.

  • background music from the gladiator :/ oh well.... is the film good? i saw the one with john wayne

  • @BigDaiRhys This one is kickas!!! Better than the John Wayne one. Don't listen to the critics about how bad the film is. It was really good! :)

  • Weren't the Texans just Mexican rebels that screwed over Mexico because Mexico outlawed slavery and Texas was pissed.

  • @vidman163 no they were fighting because mexico went against the constitution because of santa anna. get ur facts straight dude!! they were ticked about the slavery though BUT that was like 1% of the cause of the fighting Im taking history at school right now and we started the movie today. Trustt me for facts I memorize ALMost everything from class.... and ur hearing this from a 7th grader!!

  • well at least we both lived happily ever after :)

  • @ 3:42 are we laying concrete to day ?

  • EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "one of the greatest Army's ever assembled" pfffffffffffffffffffft

  • Omg I love this movie I just watched it too in class cuz we learned about it!!William Travis is so sexy in this movie!!i wanna buy it but where do they sell it ????

  • @nemo3313 Amazon.

  • @demeandr121 thank you:)

  • Saddened how Santa Anna just governed by on his own interests...and the real story were like this: americans went to live in Texas and then, they declared themselves independent...and when it comes that the "limit" , according to them, was Rio Grande (instead of Rio Nueces), so they invaded México...

    cha-ching

  • When's this movie coming to Blu-ray? : P

  • god i have been trying to find that song that starts at 3:03 for years, with the humming, is that a real song or just for this trailer?

  • each man kills 14 people

then the people at the alamo can win lolz

  • FUCK SAMUEL HOUSTON FUCK THE MEXICAN REPUBLIC AND LONG LIVE THE MEXICAN IMPERIALISM

  • One hard hour of glorius life is worth an age without a name.

  • @demeandr121

you do know that those chain mail is not real right? it's all bull haha

  • I recomend the movie "One man´s Hero" ("Heroes sin Patria"). It shows the other side of this war, the Mexican side, were USA started its campaing after Texas annexation and started to conquer Mexico until it´s capital. Its about the Irish troops called "El Batallon de San Patricio" which fight on Mexican side. Also is sad to see how Mexico sufered not just because of war, but because of Santa Ana´s centralist republic.

  • Comment removed

  • wow stupid gringos they always put themselves like there the good guys fuck this shit

  • @rct096 Santa Anna was a tyrant that makes the Mexican the bad guys. P.S, we were the bad guys in Avatar.

  • Too bad this movie didn't earn much...They were not able to beat the Passion Of Christ....

  • Proud Texan, born and raised. Family Texan sence 1835! God Bless Texas!!!

  • @Democrities FUCK YOU AND FUCK THE MEXICAN REPUBLIC LONG LIVE MEXICAN IMPERIALISM!

  • @rct096

chill dude, there's always two sides and both are in a way right so you don't need to go around and say "fuck you" to all the proud texans. they have a reason to be proud and so do the mexican imperialism so just chill. but i'm on the texas side just thought i'd say that because i've studied this for a yr a while back and there's plenty reasons why texans should be proud and independent from mexico. i'm not one but my family is :)

  • i saw this movie last week. it waz awesome! i luved every minute of it. it was a great way to learn about the alamo. William B. Travis was soooo hottt!!!!!!!!!!! all of my friends agreed. it was soo sad, but it goes to show that we lost, but lost proud because of all our soldiers... REMEMBER THE ALAMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hahaha one of the greatest armies ever assembled? One seal team would have obliterated them had they been defending the Alamo

  • @BLSmatt91 some low minded comment you just threw....

About the Seals....that for sure they would have won... but also one mexican seal team would have done the same if vice-versa in those times.

    very dumb comment indeed...

I am sure you are thinking....

"ummmm... I am sure a couple of aircraft-carriers with 200 F-18's would have

change the course of the "civil war"....duuuuuhhhhhh...."

    dumb dumb dumb...

  • @BLSmatt91 wow you fucking idiot... SEALS didn't even exist... plus the technology that they have now obviously would have fucked the mexicans..

  • and second part of the trailer uses the music from "1492: Conquest of Paradise" (after 3:00).

And when the USA go to war, it's always against one of the "greatest armies of all time". Always. Iraq was Sauron's nightmare don't you know ?

    ;-p

  • what a terrible trailer! using the score from gladiator? and mexico had one of the greatest armies ever assembled? really?

  • @jletts2 Using the music from Gladiator really sets the mode in the story you jackass!!! Dramatic music for a dramatic movie.

  • @demeandr121 jackass? i make one comment in no way directed towards you and you call me a jackass?

and it shouldnt just borrow the exact song music from gladiator it should have its own composer

  • @jletts2 There's no rule saying you can't use music from another movie now is there? Some scenes in Marley and Me didn't have it's own music. Why call a good trailer bad just because they have music from another movie?

  • @jletts2 dude mexico has changed after what 100 something years!!!!

  • @jletts2 you just have to read a little bit more about mexican history then... only then with an informed background you can question the greatness or not of the Army in those times.

Knowledge before writing will open you doors.

talking with out knowing will only show your true colors.

  • @yonpolite "Knowledge before writing will open you doors.

talking with out knowing will only show your true colors"

saying that after making a really stupid comment makes you come off as douchy

and what makes you think i have no knowledge of mexican history? no actual historian believes that mexico ever possessed the worlds greatest army, they were only really tested by texas and then the US and lets just say they left alot to be desired

  • @jletts2 yes... in fact the fucked the french and the British in the second french intervention..
