Only our nation was threatened so many times by much stronger enemy and even though has produced so many wealth in field of music, architecture, art, literature, technique and science (and beer). I don't know of any other nation like that. Only our nation defeated for or five great crusades and survived so many oppressions by musch bigger countries and in spite of that all could remain much wealthier than many countries that did not suffer so greatly.

@kapustaa I know that Polad has a heroic history and we have always been friends, more than with Slovaks and I am fan of Poland. However Poland is four times bigger by both size and number of people and I am talking about nations with similar parameters to ours. We always come with something great, make others profit, get robbed and get nothing back. If all nations that stole from us would give back all inventions, wealth and potential banned or taken by force, we would be the richest nation.
But of course, this movie is only about very small part of our history it does not tell about earlier times. I think only people who were brought up with knowledge of all what happened during the communism in our country can understand this without any explanation and that was actually my original point. And again in that time we were still most wealthy, developed and liberal from all former communist countries. Even though that russians stole much from us, it was not so bad time.

understand the imagery, and learn something more about your unique Czech history. i really only got the bits dealing with collaboration, Pivo, and Prague (Praha) Spring. Cheers!. the rest i admit, i don't have a clue.
