It is very easy to back the bolt head away from the carrier, simply rotate it, pull it out about 5mm and rotate back into the normal position. I enjoy your videos and wanted to be a commercial Pilot / Instructor too but I occasionally get migraine vision loss.
You want to go chamber up, not muzzle down. The chamber in the .223 is fluted and needs to be cleaned with a special brush (it looks like a small brush with a bigger brush behind it). Then use another (just a single small brush in .223) to push through the whole barrel. Also take off the flash sup before takedown, I forgot to show that in the video but it screws off easily.
@bchamorro I have a v53, a similar gun. I would remove the bolt group and the flashhider and clean from the muzzle. Most will say to clean from the action end but its harder unless u have a snake bore cleaner. Follow ur cleaning kit instructions from there. Start with brush&guide to remove stubborn fouling and then to patches.
Does century arms make these rifles ? Or are the imported under their name. Because over here in Europe these are made by a Turkish Company called MKE.
@pukkepop ...watz freaking gay is that the damn (carbine) MP-5 clone has the lower & stock (connected) by polymer as per import laws,..(so you can't change the stock with out cutting them apart from each other!)...& they welded these stupid blocking rails on each side of the inner mag well, to prevent the use of High capacity MP-5 magazines, & not use the crappy (modified) 10rd mag with the (cuts) made in it too.....& they cost around ($1500.00) also!
Be sure to measure the bolt gap with the weapon assembled, bolt in battery. Measure the bolt gap with a feeler gauge through the magazine well. Good vid.
A trick to use in a pinch to unlock the bolt: hold the reciever with muzzle down, insert the bolt carrier into the reciever backwards, with a little force, and the end of the reciever will catch the rollers that are hanging out while the bolt carrier continues down and it will unlock.
Cool, I am learning more and more about my 91 between your and other vids. It's killing me not having it in my position at the moment. I am ready to jump in and take the entire thing apart. Ha ha, I see a visit to a gunsmith at some point in my future. I am better at taking apart than I am at putting together. :) Thx. Good Day !!

question about cleaning the bore/barrel of a c93 sporter
do you insert the rod with brush from the chamber up or from the muzzle down?
if you clean it from muzzle down (to chamber), do you use a muzzle guide? do you remove the flash hider?

HK doesn't sell to civilians anymore.

Pretty sure they are assembled by century.

Yea I guess so, the Turkish made clones are pretty darn good. I've fired their MP-5 clone and it was excellent.
