  • Love this! I bet Bob would be proud!

  • You're great !

  • Lot of luck to you, man!!! thank you for a great moment

  • Great cover man, love watching this! I play guitar but you've inspired me to get a uke. Laugh at the end is great and I creased up thinking you said, "yeah f*'k it i'll have another beer." Brilliant. What was it you actually said?

  • You made me feel good about having long hair again.

  • @jaiyaidee one should never feel bad about having long hair.. when there are so many that live without it, and many that pay good money to get it back, or replace it.. Relish it .. let flow.. be happy for being one of the few... the brave.. the hairy.. uke on..

  • F#7m does sound right on my ukulele....theres many ways the main one is 1 and 3 string on the second freight and 2 and 4 string on the 4th freight....is that correct? i use the simple 1 and 2 string on the 6th freight....but i see ur more to the beggining....can u give me that correct chord please.....UR GREAT!

  • @soURfunnyYOUthink for F#m7 use 2424 ... its a little more robust.. in case you dont know 2424.. thats the feet position starting at the G String and going to the A string: 2424 = F#m7

    G string Fret 2

    C string fret 4

    E string fret 2

    A string fret 4...

let me know if that works for ya..

    TOADIES ROCK!!

  • wow really nice :D where did you take your chord ?

  • nice one...and your voice is nice

  • YOUR AWESOME ;)

  • Ugh SOMEone tell me how to sing and play at the same time :((

  • @Bakeneko64 Do I look like I know how to?.. LOL

suggestion would be start with a fairly simple song.. old mcdonald or something. Something with a very simple chord structure and easy to remember lyrics. Strum the chord pattern till you have it pretty well down. Then play it.. and as you get to where you stop thinking about what you are playing.. star mouthing the words/speaking them .. then moving on to singing them.. as you practice that .. harder ones will become easier..

    thats one way....

  • @kharmachanic thanks a lot! I will try it out and eventually learn this.

  • thanks :D

  • that was awesome, i didnt think you would be able to sing, ive just started playing and was wondering if you had a tab, or the chords :)

  • @furioustoga thats cool.. most are still convinced I can't sing.. I just make Pie Hole noises.. similar to a wounded hippo.. but thats only 75% of their opinions.. LOL.

actually if you look at the other comments there are a couple instances where I posed all the chords.. as for the strum pattern,, just let it flow and feel the reggae music.. and you will have the strum pattern.

    thanks for watching..

  • just wondering, where do you get your pot? Cause i want some.

  • @python208 Judging your favorites in your channel.. looks like you are quite well covered in the pot area... LOL Thanks for watching and taking the time out to leave a comment

  • i like it!

  • this is the chord proression: Bm-E7-G-F#m

  • @rewiI21 close. I actually use Bm-E7-G-F#m7

  • That's great, doesn't look super complicated I think I'm gonna try to learn that.

  • @mdubs2010 ITs a piece of cake.. is all about the stroke,., if ya stroke it right .. it all comes out good..

  • i was not expecting this. great job sir.

  • @jonblood frankly.. neither was I.. LOL and thanks

  • hey i love this song and this was an awesome cover. what was your strumming technique?

  • nice man! You should really get dreadlocks!

    jah rastafari

  • dreads are a little too much of a commitment and they can become like a part time job.. plus if I dont like it then I would hate to have to shave it all off.. But I have thought about it

  • @kharmachanic Dreads are Rastafarian... Rastafarians typically believe the white man is the devil, so if you did that you might look a little silly. ::shrug:: but do what you want

  • @KingCodimus not that I need to look any sillier..

  • quality mate love to see your having so much fun with it.

  • my lifes mission.. try to have fun no matter what you are doing..

  • Actually I was thinking about a different song sorry it's C, D, G, Em

    C - 0003

    D - 2220

    G - 0232

    Em - 0432

  • actually I use the following chords

    Bm - 4333

    E7 - 1202

    G - 0232

    F#m7 - 2424

and different varitions of the same chords though out the song

  • how much would one of these ukes cost and were could i get one but lovely music

    jah rastafari

  • This one is a vintage Kamaka Concert size - you cant buy them in a store but sometiems they pop up on E-bay and go for around 800. But new ones can be purchased for around 900. There are less expensive ones. that are good too..

  • good shit

  • do you have a link to the chords?

  • woh chicago?? haha im gonna go check it out thanks man

  • I played some gitar before movig to the uke.. but mostly I played the Bass. once you can get your fingers to fit between the frets and form the chords.. you are on the way.., luckly the majority of the basic chords are pretty easy to make and use. so I would say with a little dilligence and some practice. a couple of weeks if not sooner - will get you the basics..

  • hey i play bass and drums....

i was wondering how long it will take for me to be able to play basics of ukes...mainly chords

    5/5 on the vid btw

  • Thanks dude

but don't think a little sweet talk will get me to put out .. LOL

Get ya one.. if ya do you will never put it down .. well for the most part. I even have a plastic one I play in the tub/shower on occasion. .

  • This is awesome! , what do you have your uke tuned to?

  • well that is a questuion for the ages..

It is supposed to be in standard GCEA but there is always the chance I just picked it up and tuned it to itself but it should be pretty close to on tune. maybe a little flat but only a teeny tiny bit..

the chords are Bm E7 G F#m7 basically.. hope that helps.. and thanks for watchin.. got some more marley... soon come mon.

  • This is Great...I absolutly love it.

  • Bokoo Mahalers

Its one of my favs to play.. and a great party tune..

    Thanks

  • Great job!

  • Thanks

ITs one of my favorites .. Love that groove..

  • You need to clone yourself and give him to me so he can play that every night before I go to bed!!! Great Job

  • Aloha

Clones will be available soon on E-bay with a nominal handling charge, we are having a slight problem growing the appendages at this time they seem to all be eminating form one central undesirable (for uke playing) location, as well they all seem to be of enormous size and weight and are at this time uncontrollable. As soon as we get this problem underfoot .. they will become available.

    Thanks for watching ..

  • Hey im new to playing this what are the chords for this song?

  • Thanks for watching..
