I notice that the new Daewoo & Hyundai heavy trucks now have 10-screw ISO or European type wheels. Do Hyundai & Daewoo still make 8-screw wheels, similar to Japanese truck wheels, for heavy trucks & buses?
Thanks for the info. I also learned that Hyundai still makes 8 screw wheels as standard feature for Global & Super Aero City buses, same thing with Daewoo buses. Hyundai claims that they dropped the 8 screw wheels in favor of European type 10 screw ones when they introduced the Universe, while the Philippine market Universe buses feature 8 screw wheels like those on Japanese buses. Well, I think it depends on market.
I believe Asia truck production ceased after Hyundai's acquisition of Kia. It's sad, there are only 2 Korean truck makers existing right now. Samsung should make trucks again. They may continue to use UD Nissan Diesel engines & transmissions; while Samsung designs & engineers the cab, interior, & bodies. The late 90's just happened to be a bad timing for Samsung to enter the truck market, when Asia suffered from economic recession.
Just click on the link to daum and put chulera in the search bar then click on the first result it will open up a window of the site then put in Da50 in that search box.
I want a Deawoo tractor but i cant part with my Ssangyong Da50. the Daewoo tractor i drove did not have as much pulling power than my Da50. But mabe i am just used to my Da50 and plus a got a jake brake imported from the us for my tractor i wish Ssangyong made trucks again.
You maybe know about large trucks/lorries than me. Thanks to your comments. I can't find any picture of that Ssangyong you said, but perhaps you meant that Ssangyong already built large CV's before?
Ssangyong's future will surely give birth to small CUV and first compact hatch. No large CV.

I also like the Asia Granto. Asia made trucks until the 90's.
