I heard the story as the A theme is grave diggers digging a grave, the agitito is the man waking up realizing he is being buiried alive, and the fortissississimo A theme is them digging the man up, and the last few measures is the man's heartbeat. and the last chord the man is dead.
I was watching the Emily Rose movie and thought the possessed Emily was playing the Hellraiser song, and then I thought: Jeez, this devil is so fcking cool, but now I'm not quite sure if this songs is played in Hellraiser, plz anyone knows?
whoa really nice interpreation! i play piano too but as i dont read music i can't work on great classical song like this! maybe someday... Anyway thumbs up for your cover :)
@TheDemonicSkull Thanks, mang! If you notice I don't play the middle part correctly at all—not counting burying the melody—the figuration of the 3 note groupings are too weird the way he performs it so I simplify it. Maybe someday I'll return to it and polish it up.
I don't like this interpretation, but I like how you stuck a theme on it. I see it as a great city (Moscow) on fire, the first 3 notes is basically the start of the fire and the A section is all of the buildings slowly starting to burn. The agitato b part is the quick progression of the fire throughout the city, while the Tempo Primo represents the destruction, buildings falling apart etc. The coda is the ashes with most of the city destroyed.
and btw. at the agitato part its very hard to follow the melody because you play the other notes to loud. at some points its pretty brilliant, at others you hardly can hear it.
this piece has nothing to do with a man burried alive. rachmaninoff never told anything about the story behind this piece. it is well known as "the bells of moscow".
to your interpretation: try to take the dynamics more serious. the agitato part sounds very creepy to me. your tempo variations aren't very rhythm.
OMG this is insane and beautiful , I was completely blown away !!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant even explain how this song makes me feel and you play it so well .
and your musical prowess is rediculous. it's just the hair is fucking awesome. I had to point that out immediately.

The playing: Awesome.
The feeling: Greatest.
The sound quality: Regular.
The clarity is good, and we can hear all note without overdrive.
But the bass notes are more muffled than the mid and treble notes.
I know this is the blame of the mic (or camera's mic), you aren't the guilty! ;-)
Good job, men. And excuse my english...
