  • is there any chance of a tutorial on this amazin piece???

  • @scallywat Well, I could talk about interpreting it I suppose but I'd hate to teach any technique to anybody 'cause I'm horrible.

  • you play very nice and emotional :) i like it :)

ps : looove your hair :P

  • I can feel Satan in my veins!!!.. well actually I'm an atheist...but this song makes me want to believe in Satan!.

  • Fuckin awesome dude!

  • Holy fuck you fucking fuck!..good shit!

  • @hjkLjdy Hahaha!

  • powerful.

  • @beethovenboy how long have you been playing man? You're pretty good and I'm usually a pretty big critic to piano players lol.

  • @Thomas11611 Been playing for 15 years, I think.

  • I heard the story as the A theme is grave diggers digging a grave, the agitito is the man waking up realizing he is being buiried alive, and the fortissississimo A theme is them digging the man up, and the last few measures is the man's heartbeat. and the last chord the man is dead.

  • I just printed these sheets because I LOVE this song, and yeahh...about that..

  • I was watching the Emily Rose movie and thought the possessed Emily was playing the Hellraiser song, and then I thought: Jeez, this devil is so fcking cool, but now I'm not quite sure if this songs is played in Hellraiser, plz anyone knows?

  • Dude, you can play it like it's your own. Awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • Dude, you play this so fucking well. Holy shit.

I haven't heard the piece much, nor did I know of Rachmaninoff until recently, but holy fucking shit. You take the cake, dude.

Also dig your fro. Working on growing mine back out.

  • whoa really nice interpreation! i play piano too but as i dont read music i can't work on great classical song like this! maybe someday... Anyway thumbs up for your cover :)

  • The playing: Awesome.

    The feeling: Greatest.

    The sound quality: Regular.

The clarity is good, and we can hear all note without overdrive.

But the bass notes are more muffled than the mid and treble notes.

I know this is the blame of the mic (or camera's mic), you aren't the guilty! ;-)

Good job, men. And excuse my english...

  • I say this from the heart Rachmaninoff and you my friend are totally Metal take that as a compliment . what an accomplishment.

  • What A beautiful piece,BRAVO!

  • Powerful song. Well played.

  • sick man, sick

  • wow I wish I could play this song one time .

  • @xEMOxBRAN3Yx You can!

  • @beethovenboy No i can't , I can't read the note I only play by ear . But i listening to your song ALL THE TIME omg , I love you HAHA XD

    sry for bad english -.-'

  • sick hair, very nice piano, and great playing. Been doing this piece for about 1 month now and I've arrived at the fast part :D

Oh and, all instruments I play, including piano, I do without knowng notes or anything. Just by myself, by sound ;)

  • @TheDemonicSkull Thanks, mang! If you notice I don't play the middle part correctly at all—not counting burying the melody—the figuration of the 3 note groupings are too weird the way he performs it so I simplify it. Maybe someday I'll return to it and polish it up.

  • @TheDemonicSkull Playing by ear is my favorite thing to do more than reading lol.

  • Fucking amazing skills

  • you're a freaking badass Jesse! I'm back from Israel, maybe we can hang if I'm in your area.

  • I love this song since I've seen the movie of emily rose, you play really good, nice work

  • I don't like this interpretation, but I like how you stuck a theme on it. I see it as a great city (Moscow) on fire, the first 3 notes is basically the start of the fire and the A section is all of the buildings slowly starting to burn. The agitato b part is the quick progression of the fire throughout the city, while the Tempo Primo represents the destruction, buildings falling apart etc. The coda is the ashes with most of the city destroyed.

  • nice work dude

  • . . . sometimes your hair makes you look like a shadow; it adds something different :) 5/5

  • and btw. at the agitato part its very hard to follow the melody because you play the other notes to loud. at some points its pretty brilliant, at others you hardly can hear it.

  • I agree with you whole-heartedly. I appreciate your honest critique, wish more people would do that.

  • this piece has nothing to do with a man burried alive. rachmaninoff never told anything about the story behind this piece. it is well known as "the bells of moscow".

to your interpretation: try to take the dynamics more serious. the agitato part sounds very creepy to me. your tempo variations aren't very rhythm.

all in one - good work

  • dude your a beast at this.

  • you are great and your piano is awesome!

  • wow your great!

  • OMG this is insane and beautiful , I was completely blown away !!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant even explain how this song makes me feel and you play it so well .
