  • why do people have to be so dang greedy. how hard of a concept is it .... if you have more then you pay more if you have less then you pay less....everyone gets a fair shake what the hell is wrong with people

  • @andreacanadian

Too bad having "more" is how much the middle class has, and the middle class I can't say is doing so good right now. So now the middle class, who has "more", will get taxed "more" to be "fair" so now instead of having barely enough money to make it, we will get shoved onto to streets because we're so "rich" and "greedy".

  • @drummerthing2 so if the "middle class" are having such a hard time making ends meet then how do you figure the poor are doing? Where you might have to make a choice between paying the credit card bill or the cable bill a poor person must make a choice to buy groceries or pay the rent....big difference

  • @andreacanadian

the point is if the middle class gets taxed up our asses while we already can't afford much, we'll be out of our jobs and homes and with the poor people on the streets. Just because you have it better than someone else doesn't mean you should get punished for it.

  • @drummerthing2 honestly have you ever ever ever once in your life ever had to choose to buy groceries or pay your electric bill? Seriously just once. The middle class can afford a lot more than the poor and thats why they are middle class I am not saying save the world but jeez people are dying of illness simply because they do not have money to pay the co pay. thats sad. yet we send millions to haiti but feeding the poor and homeless here in our own backyards is a punishment?

  • @andreacanadian

We CHOOSE to send money to feed people in Haiti, we're not forced to. The government is FORCING people to pay for other people's lives. The way things are going middle class people are going to be on the streets too, and since there will be no more private health care we have to use the government run health care and EVERYONE will have to wait 6 months to 2 YEARS to get a VITAL surgery done because there will be NO doctors. The middle class shouldn't have to suffer because some

  • @drummerthing2

people are poor. Also, you're not even from the U.S., you're a Canadian. You have no right to even argue about this because it's not your problem. I know sharing is fair, but no one is ever FORCED to share. When people work for 80 hours week and can barely afford to feed their families, pay their bills, let alone have extra money for leisure items, it's not fair to be FORCED to "share" "all" the "tons" of money we have. We should not be forced to pay for someone else's family and

  • @drummerthing2

life when we can barely support our own. I'll gladly donate to a organization, I'll gladly give a poor man $5 for lunch, but I'm not going to have all my money STOLEN from me to support a whole other person's life who sits on their ass and does nothing. Yes, it may sound harsh, but look at it this way, if you get free health care, food, housing, do you honestly think you're going to work a day of your life? While people work their ASSES off they have to pay so people can sit there

  • @drummerthing2

, whine and suck their thumbs. They're the people who complain and ask why they're forgotten. The middle class doesn't want this. Almost ALL of America didn't want the health care bill but it was put through anyway because of all the psychos that got put into office. When you say we can afford "a lot" more you mean we can afford shelter and food? That's a ton more I bet, guess what, we work out ASSES off (70-80 hour weeks) so we can HAVE a house and food. We aren't give those

  • @drummerthing2

things for free. It isn't fair to have to work our asses off, pay for our food and homes, and pay for EVERYONE else's health, food, clothing, homes, etc. There's a big fine line between DONATING and TAKING MONEY FROM PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR IT.

  • asinine news story.

  • They're skeptical, but I'm sure they have no qualms about paying for the bailouts, the cops, the fire dept, the freeways and the public schools. Besides that, no fucking construction worker is making $200, 000+ a year.
