What you don't understand is that the parts about killing non-believers and so on in the Koran are time-specific. That means they only apply to the specific time in which Islam was born, when polytheists were attacking the Muslims. Islam is not perfect, but it's not as bad as the Islamophobes want you to think.

How can one 'make war" and how does one define war - a word that was coined in the late 16 or 17th century well before the Quranic verses. The Quran explicitly states that to kill a human being regardless of who he/she is - as if you killed the entire humanity and to save a life is as if you saved the entire humanity. Muslim countrys are violent hell holes where people die in absurd numbers with the most atrocious justifications for it, such as 'honor killings.' How can any religion claim to be one of peace with such laws? It is not what the Qu'ran says, it is how the people interprate it.

Imagine Adam and Eve, 90 feet tall-what huge beds they would have had to make for them and all their children!
Noah's ark was only 30 cubits tall (1/2 the height of Adam) with 3 stories inside- did they have to crawl around or did they just "shrink" really quickly over the 900 year span?
