I am an athiest, and I really do like Secret Garden as much as the next guy. And I give two shits if this is somehow considered too be "religious". It's when someone tries to gives credit for these wonderful tear-jerking masterpieces too some god that I get frustrated. These melodies were not created by any god of sorts, nor is it the music of any god, and by saying that it is, I think you're taking credit away from the componists and musicians who put time and effort into their creation.

Two different statements, perfectly compatable. I enjoy the music very much indeed, but I do feel the need to express my opinion when an idiot christian-conservative comes along and claims it's all thanks to his or her god. No, I can't enjoy the world as it is when there are people like that.
