Does this thing even work? I can't get comments to post ... As we say in Russian, 'Andrea Ross is my hero.' It takes talent to turn an ordinary song into a delightful experience. BTW, I've noticed that Russian speakers are posting comments. I'll try to translate them for you later, but the gist is simply this: beautiful voice, and fantastic young woman (потрясающая implies, politely, I might add, an extreme degree of prettiness).
Maybe someday I will be able to attend a musical featuring her :) Though it's a bit sad that the album of hers is only distributed in the UK. Nevertheless I will get it :)
Your voice fits with broadway very well. Beautiful rendition. Do not envy those who can sing variety of music styles. Let broadway be your home and excel at it. I've heard many who could sing pop but have difficulty singing broadway. Believe it or not, broadway is the best music style of all even not everyone likes it. It was designed for high class society.
I must say, I strongly disagree with the comments of "reg0030810" saying that Andrea should restrict herself to show tunes and typecast herself as a Broadway performer... AR should ignore music-snobs who insist she has to stick to one style and just sing the songs that are close to her heart (whatever genre they might be) and that way her passion will come through in the music.... IMHO, this is a great performance of a mediocre song. AR didn't oversing and subtly nailed the underlying emotion.
