@imbakensewjoey The lavender hook is a size M. I think I worked the scarf portion with an H or I. I could have used those for working the loops too. You can even use your fingers.
To change color, work the stitch before the color change to the last step, then complete the last step with the new color. In other words, for a double crochet you would insert hook in stitch, yo, pull through, yo, pull through two, drop old color and lay new color on hook, use new color to pull through final two loops. I do show changing color in the video on making a hat, but I will try to do a short video on changing color soon. You can probably find a demo of this on YT somewhere as well.
