That's great news! I love your vlog channel because we get to know the real Iris behind all the great hair tutorials. Thanks for sharing bits and pieces with us. :)
Congratulations! Your baby's adjustment is such good news. It makes sense that you were so upset initially because you and your husband were carrying through with a hard decision. Is Grandma having baby withdrawals?
I'm soo happy for you! And you'll see, it gets better and better...seeing your child become more independent and learning things is the most wonderful thing about being a mum :o)
It's great to see that your back out there doing some excercise! Your right.. no one will know what it is like to be a parent until they have children of their own. It's not silly that you were upset about it. you have a lot of love for your child and are just concerned for their safety. the world is crazy place.
I totally went through the same feelings of guilt and worry with my first child. But then...you see them blossom with learning and social skills, that they can only obtain in a school environment-that growth and joy makes it all worth the anxiety you have gone through. I hear you getting choked up...and I got choked up! God Bless You Iris! Your baby is lucky to have you as their parent :)
awwwwwwww.. Finally you said the word HIM. so, you have a boy. sweet. I have a pre school kid also and it's amazing what they learn in school at such a young age. Love it!
glad to hear he is doing better. Just to let you know that my kids both didnt care that I was leaving them at school for the first time they both said bye to me like it was nothing. I still went in the car and cryed. To me its normal even now that my kids are 15 and 16 I still cry at things they do. Maybe im just a big baby but as a mom we love our kids so much it hurts to see them grow up. I hope you are feeling better & im sure you will be so happy to see how fast he learns new things.
I am so glad that your child is doing better and getting acclimated in his school. And great for all the positivity you received that it was a good turnout and you feel better.
I'm so glad u and ur baby are feeling better and I'm happy that its getting easier and that u are actually seeing a change. Good for u Iris for not quitting and its only human/natural for us mammas to feel like this, I too was like that with my 1st (the 1st baby is ALWAYS hardest) and then it was time for my lil' girl to go I started to feel the same anxiety until she turned around n said "ok mom u can go now, I'll be ok" lol Btw are u and ur husband planning on having more?
You are a good mother, that is why you get emotional. And I find it awesome that you share these feelings with such a big community.
You now, there are so many people that are always positive and never admit negative or sad feelings. I honestly don't think they are true. It is so healthy to admit sadness and trough that you become truely happy again.
We are humans, we need to go through all these stages.
But I am happy that your baby and you are happy people again :)
We're lucky to have you also Iris. Don't feel silly, my husband and I went through the same thing. I stayed in the parking lot for the first week crying! The teachers even came out to check on me! Well my son is 19 now! We just love our children so much it can get overwhelming.
huges :) barely saw this video so happy for you, i really hope it stays this way.
