  • Good work. I work as a nurse in an aged care facility. In the last three years, we've had several patients come in for short periods to give their home carers a break (respite). These patients are only in their early to mid 60s and one was only in their late 50s! Due to obesity-related chronic illnesses and conditions, they already require partial or full personal-care yet they haven't even reached the official retirement age. And in my opinion, this is just the first few drops of a flood

  • Australians do seem rather obese... "Igh, Oy'll gigh too Hoongry Jecks end git eh hemburgah weeth a froyg igg awn twap"... :-)

  • I know what you mean. Sometimes being,.. blunt CAN help. Glad you understood/liked it. it wasn't meant to be a bagfest, but making fun of stuff definitely helps soften the blow!

  • HAHAHAHA LMAO!! I wish this was an ad on Australian TV!! Seriously, if this was advertised during prime time TV it may actually make obese/overweight people laugh (or offend them) enough to take action and do something about their weight. I'm 10kg away from being in my healthy weight range and things like THIS do, believe it or not, help :) Not only is it hilarious, it's spot on. It's just a shame most people would say this is offensive rather than admit they need to lose weight :)
