Beethoven was know to be a very flamboyant person so I wouldn't doubt it. lol I'm not saying every gay man is flamboyant but some r. Maybe they only had sex once. Some men have had homosexual experiences but r not exclusively "gay". They may have had sex or relationships with BOTH genders. Or maybe they were bisexual (which of course was not a word to identify them with at the time). Sexuality is subjective/fluid. It's possible to be "straight" but fall in love with or experiment w the same sex.

Many people in that time had varied sexual experiences with men and women. & even if he did have a sexual relationship with his nephew (which having sex with family was not uncommon either) it may have been a 1 time deal. many people had sex with the same sex. & Some were not exclusively gay. Many people were fluid in their sexuality or experimentational. They didn't even have a WORD for it back them so people didn't feel the need to lable it like we do.
