@Fl0yDian86 Thanks for watching and listening - tricky tune to play for me. I guess my remote camera control didn't like the song so much, as it jumped off my chair and tried to run out of the room (1:36). I appreciate your nice comments and positive feedback. Jim
@MrJimdeb thank you for your wonderful reply, I hope to see you doing some old Pink Floyd songs (hope not any commercial ones like in The Wall) ;) Echoes or Dogs would be awsome! Keep going the great work!
Hello Jim --thanks so much for the okay for the vid response --and it would be a pleasure to have your song as a vid response on my channel ---if you so wish it ----thanks again !
Hello Jim --really enjoyed your cover of this song --I'm sending you a vid response to this song --if you'll okay it --if not that's okay too;-].....take care !!
@dww0902 The neck really doesn't feel all that different. Each fret, of course is slightly larger, but the contour and thickness feel very much like any strat I've played. I love the sound these guitars produce, and what's cool is if I ever get tired of owning a baritone, I can simply put lighter strings on it and tune it up to standard. Sound like any other high-end Fender strat.
@danthemanallen89 I'm glad you like some of the songs we play....this song is one of my favorites to play. Yes we often do requests (when it fits our style). I'll take a listen to Calles Cannon Ball and see if it's something that works for us. Thanks for the suggestion. Jim
@MrJimdeb wow u actually replied, your just an all round nice guy arnt ya lol. yeah that doors cover would be my fav i think u just capture nit so well, the songs called "cannonball" by the artist "damian rice" i would be suprised if you dont like it, take care mate
@MrJimdeb ok im not sure how to send vids to people on youtube but the song is in my fav on my channel, sure let us no wat u think, if its not your thing then no worries mate.
@danthemanallen89 I can see why you like the Cannonball song so much....it's beautiful. I have never heard it before (I don't listen to much popular radio), but it does seem to be a song that would fit in our style of playing. I will have to listen to it a number of times to "get it in my head". And then I'll see if I can come up with an instrumental of it. Thanks for the suggestion. Jim
@orangejuiceaddicted Thank you Jojo. This song was done by an American Band called "The Doors". They became very famous and popular. The singer, Jim Morrison, died of a drug overdose in while living in France and that was the end of the band. They had many great songs, but this was one of my favorites. Thanks for listening. Jim
Yep, I know "Break on through the other side" and "Light my fire"...they were good! I think they still sell many and many CDs...I've just bought one!! It's "The best of The Doors" :) And a friend of mine has already borrowed it!
@KyThumb Yup, standard guitar tuning. But since I'm playing the baritone, it just sounds a lot lower because the E strings are tuned 5 frets down to a B.....but it's still tuned like a normal guitar. We just put up "Last Date" earlier today; I'm sure you remember that one. Jim
@dynodon12 Hey Don, appreciate the nice comments. I love that baritone - I've got about half a dozen songs uploaded playing it. Thanks again for the view. Jim
@BocaFriend I'm gonna tie that remote to my wrist from now on - then if/when it falls off, it WILL be a "wardrobe malfunction". Maybe that will bring to me the great attention that I so richly deserve.....or I could just release Callie from behind the bass drum....
Hi Jim: Did you get your nap in after splitting your brain 3 ways? How do you do it all? Great job. Enjoyed listening. Thanks for sharing. You usually have Deb splitting her brain 3 ways (LOL!) Take care. Gwen
@cadjunk Yup, I'm back to normal....if you can ever consider me "normal". Thanks for looking/listening. We'll get the "girls" involved with the next video. Jim
Make me want to get out some hippie beads and just let go!!1 Far out man, far out!! OOOPs dropped something there Jim. ;-) this is great. Love it!!! First again and first to comment. this time I want an old hippie van painted with flowers and peace signs. ;-)
@Elvis66 Daaaanng, you are fast, speedy, and quick today. Yeah, I dropped my control clicker, and almost stopped playing right then. I'll get that van shipped out just as soon as I can get it painted to your specs. Jim

What's the neck like on a Sub Sonic?
Is it similar to its regular scale siblings in terms of back contour and thickness?

@MrJimdeb
Thanks for the info. :)
I saw your ad on Craigslist and that's what brought me here.
I'm looking for a baritone with a big 'ol chunky neck.
The regular Strat style neck and scale is too small for my hands,
so I figure a baritone of sorts is what I need.
