Wow i got banned from Guild wars, I miss it so much. I had everything you can imagine. First time playing got me hooked on for life, but sad i was a noob and i uhm sold my account for 1500k and i was a noob i was like 10 at the time. yes, GW is very fun, but a WoW player would find it weird. first of all, there is no interaction outside of cities. everything is instanced. second, im not actually a WoW player, but i understand the skills arent that complicated. In GW the skills are really complicated and are sometimes very frustrating. finally, there is almost no emphasis on equipment. its all on builds, or combinations of skills. its a very different game, but its still fun. (ps get the expansions before the original)

I say get all the GW games, the close beta is not even released yet for GW2. so we are still looking at a yr or 2 untill its release. You got plenty of time to get into the original GW universe and have fun. Plus u get rewards for doing things in guild war one that'll later benefit in GW 2 Hit me up, we can go do some quests or pvp together : )

I played when you had to have a certain amount of exp to change your stats untill nightfall? then it got boring and too hard to solo ...then i started to play eyeofthenorth and wow everything became gay the rare weapons just look differnet you can create the best weapons n the game if u have 10g lol i was dieing but this game is the best for fair classes only the player skill makes u win or lose a battle
