  • Hey! I was wondering if you also used cork in the end for the sound hose/fipple? I'm having a really hard time finding cork that sie out here. I've found cork board and standard wine bottle corks but they're not big enough:p

    Any ideas?

  • I used a wooden plug that I made both for the windway and the end plug.

Good luck and please post the result for all of us.

  • tak tak SLOVENSKOOOO

  • Excellent job, sir. I want to build a fujara also, but are there any good tutorials online with proper measurements and placement of the holes? You said that your's is in the key of "G". How did you go about tuning it?

  • SLOVENSKOOO

  • You can find the instructions on how to play it at fujara dot sk.

By the way, it is pronounced FOO-yah-rah.

  • This guy rulezzz =o)

  • Thank you for the compliment. It was a fun project. I have made two more. The one above I gave to my grandson Eli (Who is a great whistle player)

  • That's cool. Thanks for posting.

  • How interesting! It is huge! And you sure sound good for not knowing how to play it! Thanks for sharing it!

  • Hey Ric, Great job for first time out sir. Thanks for the props in the explanation. There's a fujara yahoo group who can help with the playing information. I don't have time to do much more than make this kind of stuff never mind learning how to play unfortunately :)
