1) its not a hood. Its called a Microbiological Safety cabinet. This particular one is a Class 2 A2 type.
2) this demo is appalling. No lab coat, sleeves rolled up!! a watch on and bare skin being taken in and out of the cabinet.potential for contaminate..!!
3) As for spraying, only spray direct when you have a spillage. Otherwise always spray the cloth then wipe and dry well.This ensures you dont get corrosion on the stainless steel worktray.
