Unfortunately I couldn't hear your solo very much because of this loud playback sound. Turn it down! You did an awesome job man, a lot better than other on youtube! I think this is M. Ford kick-ass-fuckin-sad solo. You just need some more anger, sadness and crazyness! Kind of a Crowes thingy (IMHO)! You kinda have the felling to play this song, so spit it out!
@gyanfrancischeto thanks..yeah..the sound quality is crappy due to the fact that i live in an apt..any louder than 2 on the amp will cause complaints haha..the Crowes have influenced me in many ways during my lifetime..i'll have to do another take :)
@kaptkarl yeah I know the problem. I live in an apt too. Do another take! I will be pleased. Just saw some of Marc Ford live performances with Crowes and this solo is a living thing. It is different every time he plays. Why should people nail it down to do it perfectly? It defeats the solo purpose! I think the solo is the time that the guitarist has express himself through his instrument, so this should be reflected by the moment that he is feeling/living.
