When I saw Dil Se in 1998, I cherished all the songs, they were simply magnificent and magical. But there was one piece of music that I could never get out of my mind, even now. It is this mesmerizing, haunting melody. This was ARR at his most awesome best. Just wish there was an mp3 without the voice-overs. A million thanks for sharing!

its not actually gulzar.... this is first verse of Pakistani old poet, Allama Iqbal; but throughtout movie AR Rehman (the genius), Mani Ratnam, Sukhwinder, Gulzer were inspirational. U'aint from Hindi background?
