Such a great scene. Sarah Jane basically accepts the role of being The Doctor's companion all over again, and she does it with zeal. She takes that jellybaby, Tom Baker laughs, and everything's fallen into place.
Every Doctor deserves one of these scenes. When we learn who they are. Like when he karate chops the brick and it doesn't break. And the whole "You're being childish!"
Reminds me of the eleventh Doctors "Hello. I'm the Doctor. Basically... RUN!"
@MrDan2593 It's nothing like the 11th Doctor scene. This is a scene, the new Who is generally a series of frenetic flashes, crescendo after crescendo.
@emmahouli harry was made for the role when the original idea was to have the 4th doctor much older, in the same vein as hartnell. they needed someone younger to do all the fighting scenes (much like ian in the 1st doctor days). when baker got the role they realised he wasn't really that useful so they got rid of him the first chance they got back to Earth. a pity, i liked the role of Harry as well..
@tmofee - I remember watching Harry leavign and just not understnading all he said was that he was taking the long way around, I genuinely thought that they would meet him in London in a few episodes and they never did - although I was delighted when I saw him in the invasion of androids (I think I got that name right)
I didn't knwo that about his character development though
one of the best scenes in doctor who, it just says it all about tom bakers doctor, n i loved those 3 as the TARDIS crew. For me harry could have happily stayed past toms first series
Thank you for posting this great scene from Robot.
Although Robot suffers just a tiny bit from poor special effects, it is a fun story to watch, and is one of the better DrWho serials.
It isn't a WHO masterpiece, but Robot is a very important story, as it introduces Tom Baker in the role of "The Doctor". Baker is a natural in the role, and he and Elisabeth Sladen connect right from the start, forming WHO's all-time best pairing. Harry joins them for Season 12, and makes a great companion.

I love Sarah Jane's giggles in the background. They're all so cute in this scene. :)

I love how the Doctor grabs back the jelly baby after Harry inadvertantly insults the TARDIS. Little things like that made this show so great.

I love Sarah Jane's giggles when Harry starts questioning the TARDIS. She's got no poker face at all!

"There's no point in being grown-up if you can't be childish sometimes."
Love the dialogue.

It's always lovely to see bits and pieces from Four and Sarah's time together. Such a wonderful connection between the two of them!
Love the way Harry says the line: "Hello... Well, what are you two up to now, eh?" It's somewhat... suggestive, if you want to take it that way! XD
Thanks for putting this up!
