  • Now I know what clapper boards are really for, lol! Comfortable tutorial video length and great tutorial concept making the technical part look easy. Now, clearly, that's a pro! I'm learning quickly here, and getting some fine filmmaking tips too. Thanks!

  • Just saw your video. I've been wondering for a long time how to do this and you made it so understandable. Thank you so much and I look forward to perusing your channel.

Is there a way I could buy this program used? Thanks again, Mike mikefixac@gmail.com

  • Nice video, I was wondering what your opinion on my scenario would be: I currently have a consumer AVCHD camcorder, and I was planning on getting a much nicer Panasonic one soon, but I'm reconsidering and might get an HDV camera. I'm going to get a corei7 PC in a little while as well, but was wondering if, should I get an HDV camera, it's possible/a good idea to edit two camera video shoots with a combination of HDV/AVCHD (I'll be getting CS4 Master Collection Soon)

  • Premiere Pro does allow you to mix and match video, even HDV and AVCHD. HDV footage is easier to edit than AVCHD. I'm not sure what your final result will be, but I've used HDV before ( the Canon HV30) and it worked well. The i7 machine will be good for AVCHD editing, but the HDV only requires a modest machine.

  • Good idea. Thanks.

  • clear and concise, i find it is a good idea to put a 10db boost on the clap waveform to make it stand out more and thus facilitate lining up the tracks in the edit program
