My brother, Fr. Mike, was ordained by Pope John Paul in June of 1984... It was quite an experience for Mike, and especially my mother who was there to witness his ordination. My brother presently serves in a parish in Colorado Springs.

I saw our blessed John Paul II in Camden Yards in 1995. He has blessed me in my vocation and with a little miracle around my neck. Medal and papal cross with chains that are turning gold since his leaving us to go to the Father's house. We are just starting to see the powerful witness and testimony he gave to the world. Be not afraid and let us all work in building the civilization of love and answer his challenge to the Youth of the World for the "new evangelization"! John Paul II We love you!

this is the perfect song for this video. and we are all blessed that such a saintly human could have touched all of our lives in the way that he did.

i was in St Peters Square for Easter Vigil Mass literally a week before JPII returned home. there were a large group of teenagers in the square after mass shouting up at the papal apartments "Vive la Papa!" that is something i will never forget.
