@xmodrock Congratulations! You get a star for the day! Let me guess that's on dry pavement without the back end going sideways and VSC taking over. Because this was on wet pavement with the truck fish tailing till about 40 and the VSC ( thats Vehicle Stability Control) cutting throttle off for a second. I was just doin this for fun on a wet day cause I knew it would break loose.
@xmodrock I launched in 2 wheel drive because I wanted it to spin and slide dumbass and I don't feel like breaking something by launching in 4 wheel drive. this was just for fun!
@xmodrock hahahaha good joke dumbshit no if u take ur head out of ur ass u would realize toyota is better than any ford and that the only thing worse than a ford is a chevy
@GeoThundra yea getting an after market intake didn't caost as much as buying some TRD bullshit ;-) BTW the new tundra can only tow 8,000lbs and the new V6 f150 can do that.. the V8 or eco boost can do 11,000# ;-)
@xmodrock I've towed a 26' Seaswirl Striper with my 06 Tundra but its not safe.... My tundra is my daily, My old one had 220k before i traded in on a newer one (it was stolen and crashed during the time i owned it but ran really well) but I'm gonna get a 7.3 Excursion soon as my tow vehicle....
@GeoThundra i towed lots of crazy shit with my ford.. lol i <3 it... lmfao but its a diesel so its not a fair comparison... but i see.. i always bought pick up trucks for work... i drive a cobra if im not gonna haul shit
@xmodrock I've towed 9k with my truck and its revvy but it does it well... I like tundras because they last! lol But towing, nothing compares to a diesel, I use my truck to tow a lot and as a daily.... I still want an Excursion, they get such good mileage and are just pretty damn reliable
what do you have a dc or an ac...and what kind of pavement was that cause i cant get the tires going that much on highway pavement . i guess the k&n really does boost up your hp and how much were your duals im thinking about getting fake duals with a y pipe after the muffler?
@toyotapickup94 double cab or access cab? but i thought that was dry pavements i was gonna say i cant spin my tires like that on dry pavement. but sick vid! how much did you pay for your duals
@miniklues I can turn traction control on and off and it will spin the tires and get a little sideways but if it gets to sideways like in this video at about :12 the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) takes over and shuts everything down. I hate it if I can figure out how to disable it I will. I don't get why some 2006's have it and others don't.
@GeoThundra I turned off the traction control. It's a little button at the bottom of the dash that says AUTO LSD you turn it off and can fry the tires all day long lol
ford= fu#@ed over rebuilt datsun...

@toyotapickup94 see if you drove a ford you wouldn't have to worry about breaking anyting ;-)
xmodrock 9 months ago

@xmodrock like what? ;)
Yeah you would really tow that much with a 1/2 ton wouldn't you? Fuck that I'd get a powerstroke if i need to tow more than 6k.
GeoThundra 8 months ago
@GeoThundra i have a powerstroke for that ;-) but the exeplorer can do 5K and the old V8 exeplorer can do 8K

@miniklues What do you mean by dc ac? It was on wet pavement. The exhaust is what mainly woke it up but the K&N helped to.
