I remember thinking it sucked using the controller to type and realised I needed a keyboard. The days of stopping gameplay as a team to type messages and funny arguments in the lobbies.
Online gaming on the consoles has never been the same since.
Dreamcast renders this game really nicely. I mean compared to the ports. Idk if it's the graphics card in it or something...Technically it should be worse looking. But it's not. Looks more... Sega then the ports. Yeah I make no sense -___-

@frigginjoe Now this is weird. I stumbled across this vid by chance while waxing nostalgic about some old DC games. I was partially looking up old Sega music to maybe post in your classic music thread. Mike the TV right hurr.
@frigginjoe You're definitely right about the second sentence you said. After analyzing some of the titles on that system, I found that 99% of those titles aren't really worth playing on that system but on another. PSO? I can play that on PC with better graphics. Sonic Adventure? Now it's on XBL and PSN. All these games are (mostly) better on other systems. I would say that the two games worth playing on the Dreamcast only would have to be Soul Calibur and Shenmue, but that's about it.
However, I do acknowledge that without the Dreamcast, these games would not have come to fruition in the first place. What I'm saying is that the Dreamcast does not suck at all (except for the battery-sucking VMU), but I would rather play those Dreamcast games elsewhere if it means saving money.
@Foodperson Yeah but they were new when they hit the DC. It was the first time a lot of these games were experienced. When they came to other machines, gaming was already more developed. It's not DC fanboyism, it just was just a cool year or so in that interim between the batch of successful consoles.
My very first online game. Only played it online for a good year or so. But that was a year i will never forget. This game was so simple, yet so much damn fun.
Man, this brings back memories. Just the sounds alone. I miss it, defined online gaming at such an early time. I remember using K-Mart BlueLight internet to play it for free.
@mr259302 every week I would go online with our free ISP that had ads running on our pc, I believe it was The Simpsons free internet. None the less, on the DC message boards there would be posts of cracked ISP accounts to use!
This looks great, I can't wait to get my dreamcast online to play this. (even though I am about 10 years late)

Man, what good times. You just can't appreciate the Dreamcast unless you were in the niche who got one and got into it.

@frigginjoe Yep, totally agreed. Yet, as we know, a small library of good games were not enough to save the system.

I'm pretty sure that those servers are long gone, and you cannot play online anymore. :(

@Dallrond There are private servers out for Blue Burst, both PC and Dreamcast. A simple google search will find them.
