Haha. I think most people assume he's like a heartthrob for young girls. There's a lot of moms that love him, and dads, just people of all ages. I'm a girl, but I'm 24, so I don't listen to anybody just 'cause they're "cute". This guy was the only vocal amateur for me, and I was proud to vote for him.
The newspaper article actually quotes Jason the wrong way...According to the paper, he said "I guess I've lasted so long because I'm so unique, and not many people like me have ever been on the show"...And I remember thinking, that's kind of odd for Jason to love himself so much and to notice his own "uniqueness". Now that I am watching the live interview...He never actually said those words, only partially, the rest of it was the interviewer. Go figure. They just tried to make Jason look bad...
That interviewer is such an asshole! Jason 'lasted that long' because he is an amazing singer. It's not just because '12 and 13 year old girls' all voted for him. rosequeen and prettyispink are right. When your trully talented than you apeal to all ages. And anyway, who's to say that those 12 and 13 year old girls don't know there stuff- If they voted for Jason than they are pretty smart. 12 and 13 year old girls aren't all a bunch of dittsy obsesive morons and any who voted for Jason did...
FINALLY someone who wasn't an ass with him during an interview. Dang took a while. I would kill someone if I had to answer the same questions 200 times. Jason is real and that's why everyone's attacking him, haters.
