  • these vids should have been uploaded as one continuous interview. fuck these little fucking shitty parts where he talks back to one question.

  • I think Hail To The Thief is maybe their most summery album. Some of the songs are more nocturnal but a lot of it actually fits with a sunny day. I remember it working well as an album to listen to around dusk, as well.

  • their best song is it was all yellow!!!!!! or maybe clocks.....hmmm......

  • @SuperNoobTroll I was going respond to that. Than I saw your name... Good try mate!

  • @SuperNoobTroll You have guts to say that... Netherless, fuck you (hope you were joking about that, seriously).

  • @kadablanba yeah of course. totally. as a matter of fact, in my scale of rating and being the best album a '10' album for me, ok computer gets it then, and kid a is second with 9.5 lol. they're quite different albums, 'cause the band changed directions starting in kid a and afterwards (you know that). so, being Kid A your fav radiohead's album, amnesiac must be pretty close i guess. amnesiac is a little weaker than his 'older brother' kid a, to me.

  • @kadablanba well im not a fan of The Tourist, but i think ok computer is their best work ever. also, selling england by the pound is for me the best work by genesis, yet it has some flaws much more terrible than The Tourist if you wanted to put it in context. and it's not only that, i mean, 'selling england...' is a brilliant masterpiece, but it has those 'flaws', those songs that if they werent there the album would be even greater!

well, the tourist is the only song in ok computer i'd take out

  • @kadablanba Oh. Well, climbing up the walls is one of my favourites!

  • @kadablanba Just curious, what songs on OK Computer doesnt make sense? not angry or anything, just curious like i said :)

  • hail to the thief is the darkest version of ok computer

God. Sit down stand up, Where i end and you begin, Myxomatosis, 2+2=5

  • hail to the thief is my favorite album <3

  • damn. pay attention to thom's style much?

  • Maybe youll be president, but know right from wrong... or in the flood, you will build an ark, and sail us to the moon... "Beautiful"

  • a new thing for them to give people actually positive energy after throwing all those little kids into their mid life krysis with those ok computer- things... but well... gotta love the man no matter what... their music is just so beautiful in general...

  • Ha i know. OK Computer is a little depressing, but you have got to listen to the music, life changing

  • Ok computer was actually deep with songs like 'How to disappear' and 'Optimistic'. I heard that someone killed themselves over 'How to disappear' from a lyrics website.

  • Those songs were on Kid A.

  • @ RyoCaliente Yeah idk why I said OK computer. Must have slipped my mind, I listen to it all the time. So it seems really stupid.

  • how did you even get that wrong. I'm confused

  • The rain drops

    The rain drops

    The rain drops

    The rain drops

    The rain drops

  • you just can never get bored with hail to the thief no matter how many times you listen to it

  • You know it. I have returned time and time again to Hail To The Thief. Simply one of the greatest albums.

  • a beautiful and tragic thing about Thom is i honestly think He doesn't know how truly goregeous he really is...inside and out.

  • i think he knows exactly...

  • haha. thats a new thing for us...

  • oh, and btw, Hail to the Thief is probably my favorite album of all time. Either that or Metallica's "Master of Puppets". So yeah, I prefer it over OK Computer. Don't ask me why, there's just something about OKC that rubs me the wrong way.

  • I agree.

Hail To The Thief is their best work ever.

  • negative

  • Hail to the Thief has what is undoubtedly one of their best songs in "There There"; maybe just hands down the best thing they've ever done...

...but the album as a whole is, in my opinion, a bit too inconsistent to be considered their best. I'd say In Rainbows trumps it, which in turn bows to OK Computer, which is probably my personal all-time favorite CD.

  • There are tiny problems I have with every Radiohead album, with the exception of Kid A.

I agree with velmarg about Hail being too inconsistent. It isn't as cohesive as their other albums. The Bends is kind of the same. OK Computer is simply too long to me - at some points it feels like there is filler (namely Lucky and The Tourist. They originally weren't supposed to be on the album).

However Kid A is just absolutely stellar. Every single time you listen to it there is something new for you.

  • @tehJESSEH

You have some valid points, but in my opineeon, The Tourist is one of the best Ok Computer songs.

  • I think the tourist is one of their bes songs ever. it is most certainly my favorite song by them, and, my favorite song of all time.

  • false

  • it is a great album

  • I find it amazing that Thom Yorke talks like this but can sing in such a high-pitch way.

  • same with Ian Curtis except it was the opposite for him

  • I feel love in these people.

  • I looove Hail to the Thief:D

  • "ahhh...."

    "The more you know"

  • Great interview that took place during the 1998 Free Tibet concert

Thom spoke about his father's influence and also quoted Professor Chomsky

the interview is on the Shambhala Sun website

Shambhala Sun Thom Yorke google will get you there

  • Sounds interesting, I'll check it out. Thanks.

  • thanks goona search for it now

  • people need to chill out lol

  • i love watching him speak

  • I seriously doubt Thom Yorke spends his time watching his old interviews.

  • Because he's not the type of person who'd waste his time either on remembering his own media coverage or getting aggrevated at Radiohead fans. ibenathantaylor's right too; the only possibly negative comments here are people ignorant (and imo, acceptably so) of his paralytic eye, which not even he considers an issue.

  • you are talking like if you knew him in person you dumb fuck! AND why??? dont you assholes think that Thom might have a computer at home with access to the fuckin internet? why would he be so damn differente than everyone and not to fuckin use it? stop being ridiculous you cock suckers.. hes a fuckin HUMAN

  • if he was reading this, he would probably be more pissed off with the person calling radiohead fans 'dumbasses'

  • learn a new word other then why.

  • Thom doesnt even like to listen to his old songs nevermind look up an interview he once did on youtube.

  • Yes, it is unlikely that he does not have access to the Internet, as yes, he is human. However from numerous interviews that reveal his personality and attitude towards media coverage, "celebrity" and other national obsessions (which clearly you have not watched), it is clear beyond reasonable doubt that he would not spend his time watching his own Youtube videos.

  • Also: "Dumb fuck" implies the singular, whereas you assumably meant the plural "dumb fucks" (; if you were speaking solely to me, you've obviously ignored all other comments as wise regarding said subject). "You are talking like IF you knew.." and "And not TO fuckin use it" is also" are both clear grammatical errors, categorically similar. And ... "Differente" I'm pretty sure is the French.

  • Oh PaulyPlz, marry me you great gorgeous hunk of a man. I can't live a life without your wit and anger at complete and total cyber-strangers any longer.

  • Cmon seriously... Grammer?

  • Hehe. I know it's nitpicking but I only criticize grammar (partially as a joke) if the person's taking an immature or offensive stance.

  • His illness eye..It is realy beautiful to me. It's a special feature of Thom Yorke. And he is very handsome and genial man with or without his paralytic eye. Love him. <3

  • oh hush it. we all know he's great; you don't have to talk about his eye.

  • Nothin' wrong with the eye why we have to not talk about his eye. By thinking it's a 'special feature', I reckon Fishy there is celebrating it! Good to celebrate sthg we find beautiful about someone. His music, his ideas, his voice, his eye - anyone less public, or not to be talked about than the other. He is great...and human...and public...so I think it's fair to celebrate his goodness (nose, eye, voice included). :)

  • yer. he almost lost sight in his left eye before he had an operation on it when he was two years old.

  • Thom is as sobor and healthy as a clam in chowder

  • and ur so normal guys that my pants fell down...

  • Hes got Hypomania which can be like ACD.

  • Hes got a lazy eyes fuckhead

  • hell yeah! haolla

  • lmao ur an asshole

  • ha ha!!! You're talking out your arse mate. What psychology Qualifications, or what/ who' journals have you read to say that.

    What a load of bull.

  • No.

  • actually he shows no signs of either tourettes or ocd.
