As someone who actually works in the film industry as a director and animator, as well as a die-hard Harry Potter fan, I thought that this film was one of the greatest pieces of cinema I've ever seen.

I could be a dick and point out the flaws, but EVERY movie has flaws. For all its imperfections, Deathly Hallows Part 2 is and will remain one of my absolute favorite films. This scene may be short, but it conveys exactly what it needs to. And it brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. :')

The whole film was an absolute disappointment. On a film set the director is the the highest authority. So Yates is partly to blame. he failed to capture the whole drama and epicness of the book. Steve Kloves is also to blame but thats what happens when you let americans write the script. Heyman and Barron are also to blame for this complete travesty of a film so before you go calling someone an idiot id advise next time to do some research.

The film would of been so much better had Columbus or even Mike Newell directed it. Hell i'd even go so far as to say that Michael Bay would of been a better choice. He may be terrible at plot structure but at least he would of made the film so much more epic.

David Yates brings a new perspective to these films, something Columbus, Cuaron or Newell would not have done. He carriers emotional depth in this film whilst jumping to action scenes, he adds them into the story, they're not pointless like most action films and action isn't the no.1 in Potter, it's always the emotion, character and setting first.
