I had a simlar experience on my way to Sunrise new years eve pary 1988. We got lost on the way to Slough and saw in the new year dancing on the hard shoulder of the M25. There were hundreds of cars tooting their horns! We got there in the end though and had one amazing night through till about 8 am in a disused warehouse.

I was at this one too...it was a partnership between SUNRISE and GENESIS 88 at LEESIDE RD in HACKNEY! i also remember laods of football hooligans turning up wanting to have a scrap!...lol

I think Grooverider collapsed on the decks that night he was so F**** up!. I vividly remember seeing some guys dreadlocks...they were moving like snakes...that was some night...the lasers through the mist and the sweat...great times.

I knew Tony well(promoter of Sunrise)coz he,d always gimme the advert for the rave seeing i was on Pirate Radio at the time! Great Times for sure!

1987 in hyde park - went to a rave but it ended up bieng cancelled, so what did we do?...we drove the car onto the green and opened all the doors of the car, had this track blasting out for all to hear, and to our amazement, ravers who were passing by stopped and said'GET ON ONE MATEY! hahahaha! and parked up beside us! you know we had at least 20 cars of people stopping by to jam with us!
