@olmecbones What is change? Have humans stopped needing to eat, or have relationships, or require laws? Or are you talking about change meaning giving anyone the freedom to do anything, like drink themselves to death, or spend until they are massively in debt, or invade their neighbours to secure their resources? Islam teaches universal laws, which if practiced properly through decent education, would instill self discipline, humbleness, patience, responsibility, love AND tolerance :) Peace

Your religion is bound to die by virtue of it's inflexibility toward Human potentiality.
The flexibility of secularism allowed for changes that transformed the world, but there has never been any great revelations due to any religion.
Look how many times religious doctrine changes due to new revelations.

@olmecbones This is the beauty of the Quran, the Creator set out a guideline that can easily suit both the 7th century and 21st century man, the black or the white, the male and the female. When it comes to interpretation there is only a right one, there aren't varying ones, only people who feel oppressed and need any excuse to get their revenge. But justice is only established when Islam is practiced properly, it isnt correct for mobs, or better yet, it is only for the Creator.

@AlhamdulillahAkhi Your core beliefs haven't been very effective for muslims for the past 1300 years or so. Look at all the schisms, the different interpretations, all the wars, long before there was even a West, and still, the Middle East is not unified.
Islam didn't unify Europe after their centuries of wars, so it seems to me that the West was finally making some progress just fine without your core beliefs.
Then islam started bombing their busses.

I have the answer to world problems.
1, Start a new religion by listening to voices in your head.
2. Write down what the voices say in a book (mixed with some real stuff)
3. Make your new religion as hilariously unbelievable as possible.
4. Kill people who do not follow you.
5. Find lots of people to hate (Jews, Americans, Homosexuals, etc).
6. Suddenly you will gain the support of 1.4 billion people who believe a similar pile of shit.
It really is as simple as that (ask muslims).

But when people are pushed beyond their limits (in political situations) they resort to making very bad decisions. 5 fundamentals of Islam 1. One God 2. Prayer 3. Charity 4. Fasting 5. Pilgrimage. The more muslim you are the more peaceful and loving you should be.

The thing is, we are the majority, but unfortunately we are the silent majority, we are not doing enough to explain to people about the religion, which is our own fault. But intelligent people like yourself do your own research and this is what's important, going to proper sources to find out real information. The facts in our video come from the actual teachings of the Quran (as quoted) and the Prophet Muhammad. Peace dude :)
