@TheChutra Our guild's other 10-man did in fact 2-heal the encounter that same evening (the video was shot and edited Wednesday January 5th 2010, one day after Putricide had been released on NA realms), but didn't think it was very easy at all. Blizzard seemed to have agreed with them, as Putricide was nerfed a few days later.

What you're seeing here is a very early kill done with almost no solid information on the encounter's mechanics, hence the later annotations.

shadowfiend was used on aprox 45% and if needed we would get interveine at 15%

but we did a clean run at 9 time...

but yes a really good mana regen is required here

it actually does make sense. you're probably someone who thinks gs is all that matters. it also depends on skill at the game and making sure everyone has a brain. my icc 10 group in my guild are new to getting past the first four bosses. we downed fester gut on out 3rd try and we even have a few undergeared players. we have about 7 people with 5.3k+ gs and 3 players with about 5.1k

you specifically said you are overgeared for icc 10 in this video. now why would you be wiping 4 times if you are overgeared? gs is definitely important im not saying that its all that matters, but if you have a low gearscore and youre not pulling enough dps, then you will never even get past saurfang. same goes for heals, if they dont heal enough cause their gear isnt good enough you wipe. now back to what you said. you said youre "overgeared" then why are you wiping?

IIRC, the built-in recorder on the mac client allows you to hide the UI in recordings. It's also possible, but less likely that all of the UI elements were on the outer edges of a larger frame and cropped out for the edited video.

Sanguyne got it right; I play on a Mac, and WoW's Mac client comes with a built-in video recorder that allows you to toggle whether UI elements appear on in-game footage or not. I wanted to give people as wide a view of the fight as possible, so I just turned it off. :)
