Actually, Statue of liberty was given as a gift to the US because the French government didn't want it. I also don't understand the point of his theatrics. U.S. has been marketed and understood as the land of opportunity for a long time. The con is that he takes the role of educator, prophet, and leader, but Beck is just an entertainer.

Maybe it is to reach one of the rarest places in the world, where the homeless, where the wretched refuse can breathe free. Maybe, rather than "dropping anchor babies," we can look at illegals with understanding. We could help ease the process of getting a work visa. Illegals are illegal, I will agree sir, but they need opportunities. And they can't look to drug cartels as an answer.

Legalize, it would help.
