In my opinion, it doesn't matter what age or gender because if it's true love, the love of their lives, you may not be able to live without each-other, which could lead to depression and suicidal behaviour (only in extreme psychological cases). Also, I believe that some teens of today are much more sensible and responsible for and about their actions, surely they should be given the chance to try their relationship. And I don't know if you can guess this but I'm only 14!

I personally think that judge did the right thing, He put himself (or herself) In their shoes and gave them a change to grow and change their ways themselves... rather than force them to stop, because if that were the situation they would not learn anything from their wrong actions, and on top of that, have crushed emotions.

And maybe It would be different if it was a male teacher, because there have been many cases with "males" in these kinds of situations.

there's not a shred of evidence to suggest that Helen Goddard abused her 15 year old lover. All the evidence that we've read in the press indicated that this was a loving and consensual relationship. A 15 year old isn't a child, it's an adolescent, there's a clear difference and anyone who can't see that needs to go back to secondary school.

Helen Goddard should never have been jailed. Nor should she have been branded a sex offender as she's no risk to the public.

I realy think that this judge hasn't been tough enough with this teatcher. I mean if it was a male teatcher, things would have been different and the judge wouldn't have let him see that young girl again. Whatever you're a woman or male, a teatcher has an important role for these kids who are under influence. The girl was underage for a start & the Teacher was in a position of trust. If the teacher in question was a man sleeping with a 15 year old girl or boy there would be outrage, & rightly so. This story might be some boys dream but in reality would you like the 15 year old Girl to be your Daughter? I wouldn't think so.
