  • I SO LOVE that some of us have stayed true to our original feelings.... I so wish I could go hear Bruce at the Freight Aug. 20, but my daughter's band, Crooked Still, is playing the Great American Music Hall that same night. Bruce definitely played the bass with Country Joe. I remember spending one great night with him in Big Sur? after the Fish played amplified, outside in the redwoods... We just talked and talked... So glad to see all the good he did with his life.

  • all of you who are in the SF Bay Area, come see Bruce and others perform this Saturday Nov. 1, 2-5 pm, Delancy Street Screening Room, 600 the Embarcadero...homenaje a los veteranos de la Brigada Abraham Lincoln

  • Eli Noyes, who did the animation, is my uncle.

  • @WillScarlet16 I saw some of Noyes films on PBS in the late 70's. Brilliant and intriguing. I've remembered the name for over 30 years. Like to see some of those films on Ytube.

  • You can retire Barthol from the S. F. Mime Troupe, but not the other way 'round!

    Terrific, Bruce!

    Keep it up!

  • Bruce is definitely a Country Joe & the Fish vet... I just checked and he confirmed that your rumors are true.

  • I may be wrong, but isn't this the same Bruce Barthol who was butt naked on a Country Joe & the Fish album & later had a group in England called Formerly Fat Harry? If it's the same guy, it's great to see he's still at it.
