Hello, I have the same question as SarahJane. My girlfriend is going to go through this after her chemo. I have searched everywhere and I cannot find the final, everything is done, no more surgery, post pictures. Can you please post them or perhaps consider a private conversation with her talking about your experience?
@SpectreTheHorseman hi there.i am going to post a series of pictures made into a video, asap. I chose not to have nipple reconstruction so they dont look fully back to 'normal' as there are no nipples. But i am extremely pleased with the results! I will be getting prosthetic nipples soon and may reconsider surgery for them in the future.
I am in Ny and am about to have the same procedure on November 14th. My scarring will be different as now they can make it look like a lift. I was wondering if you are going to post pictures? Thanks for showing this. It's nice to see what I have to look forward to! Can you tell me what size your implants are? I am going small. 375.
is there any sensation left on the part where the nipples used to be? I'm just asking because I survive a 3rd degree burn on my left side of the body. The had to remove my skin & my left nipple.
its a sad thing for people to get cancer in the brest was just wondering is it posible to have a nipple tattooed on to the brest to give the look as if its there just thought it could work for some people
I feel encouraged even as a guy... Its from people like you that I learn to look for inner beauty and not for the bust size or whatever... Thank you :) your courage moves me
I have requested that you add me as a friend. I have had grade 3 breast cancer recently and am now considering a bilateral mastectomy. I wanted to ask you questions about your bilateral mastectomy. I hope that you will add me as a friend, so that I can do this.
Thanks for putting this up! I have the BRCA 2 mutation along with my sis and another that passed away from the most rare and aggresive form of Breast Cancer at age 29. I am going to get the mastecomy with reconstruction. It will take me from 50-84% down to 6%. It really is a no brainer .
It really is comforting to see someone else has gone through it and that I will be ok. Thanks again! What a great digital pioneer you are for the rest of us facing this!!
its definatley a no brainer! Amazing though how many ppl thought i was being stupid getting it done....! Wishing you well with your surgery,,it really is the best option.
I'm usualy trolling everything i see but this got me quite sad ...i mean how would you feel if you had to remove your nuts ..as a man...poor woman.Hope her live will go normal.
Thanks so much for being brave enough to share your experience. I am scheduled next week for bilateral mastectomy and will begin the journey to reconstruct both breasts while on the table. For me, this will drag on longer than I had hoped since I will not only do chemo but radiation which complicates the process. But women like you that are willing to allow us who have this information ahead takes some of the unknown away which is more than helpful. Much gratitude and best wishes.
I was gonna put up a bad comment about fake breast, but i saw some comments and it's okay now, I thout it was just because you had small breast or somethinig like that , but it's because of Breast cancer so i'm alright with that procedure.
@khatanahlya Be guidede bt what your breast consultant says. Have you had the genetic testing to see if you carry the BRCA1/ BRCA2 gene? That would be the first step. My risk has recuced from 50-70%, to 2%, with the national average of any woman being around 12%. Its a big decision but was the right one for me. I wish you all the best in what ever you decide.
@JKKJ12 i have the test at 22-3. When i am positive my risk will be 80%-95% to get breastcancer. All woman in the family had cancer and died. Only my mother survived. I'm afraid.
Madam, my hat off to you for your courage and endurance. Putting up with all those needles getting stuck into you on probably a daily basis is no small feat. I remember years ago, when I was getting gamma globulin shots for three stright weeks I completely freaked out and they had to tie me down otherwise I was biting the nurse or trying to jump out of the window...
Hope all this hard time is behind you and you feel much better. You are a strong person and a beautiful lady, bless you.
@godabasha1 they are not 'fake boobs' as you put it,but reconstructed ones as my own breasts had to be removed due to my very high risk of breast cancer.
They dont beleave on wearing gloves? Oh wow..

frigidbird 5 months ago 7
@frigidbird I had to have my nipples removed also as they are still breast tissue and therefore could contain breast cancer.
