Ah yes, good old RE: Outbreak. I had so much fun playing both the first and second outbreak. It was too bad it didn't get picked up buy a lot of people then again Capcom did not do much advertisement for this game

Recently, I decided to play this again and got my computer setup with PCSX2 to play Outbreak. It took me awhile but I finally found the perfect settings and Outbreak runs fine plus it looks awsome in 1080dpi.

I honestly don't know how to get this to work. I think I finally installed pcsx2 just right, now it's just a matter of getting outbreak to work which I have no idea what to do. I downloaded the iso online, now what!?

@FallDxvdbl you download/buy said version of the game. Rip the disk to make an iso. Then load it into the emulator.

@rekaepa urrr I used the defult settings and forced the game ran on 60FPS for a Jap or US game.

@1agustus You can get the emulator from the PCSX2 site. But the BIOS must be found elseware(I found it on a random YT video) The REOB game's came from my Japanese PS2 disks so I riped the data and made them ISO's(you will have to find them on ya own sorry) and I never did get the online to work so also I dunno sorry ;/

Did you used to play F2 online on the N.A. servers using a different username? I think I remember you, but I may be thinking of someone else. And I can't remember the in-game un of the guy I'm thinking of, but I think (if it's you) you used masterjimmeh (or something like that) on gamefaqs. You or someone else?

Well I only have a Gforce 7600Gt so you don't need a real high end pc to run it :D. And yea you can use a Pad, I now use my PS3 pad to play this and it works like a charm!.

Hmm there should be a FPS limit, change that to 60(that should fix the slowdown) also a good idea is to mess around with the graphic settings. To get online I really do not know mate, all I know is to play on the Japanese servers you need to pay monthly and at times they can ban you if they find out you are not Japanese. Good luck getting it running though mate!

Urrr in the main emulator you get to pick if you want to use the keyboard or a pad. Pick the keyboard and change the buttons to what you want. That should fix it :)

From what people has told me you can play the game online. I am not sure about save states on the Emulator (I never used them) I just saved like any normal game.

Yeah,, it runs pretty great on PCSX2, even on on my measly 2.3 GHZ Athlon X2 w/ 2 gigs ram, ATI X1650 card. Runs well, but certainly time to upgrade my computer.

Yep it runs great just like playing the real thing on the PS2. You can play the online mode but you need a Japanese account and well... I cannot get one at the moment(You need to pay for one). I do hope to grab one at some point though!
