No one needs to post any more comments about what the 15 minutes mean. Sometimes one forgets things, and during the review, this obvious "fact" escaped me. Yes, you're right, it is a reference to Warhol.

My goodness. You really do go on... You could have slimmed this. And the 15 minutes isn't unexplained. It's fame. AND, you're obviously a pervert. Plus, you have a beard. You are no reviewer, and you're not as smart as you think. IN fact, you're not smart. You're an anus. To put it into words you'll understand, the James cult thinks you'll anal, and for want of a better word, stupid. Anal.
John David Ebert. I will explain to you why nobody can stay inside of Malkovich for more than 15 minutes. It's a reference to 15 minutes of fame. Nothing more nothing less.
This is a great commentary, I especially liked the bit about the feedback occuring when Malkovich enters his own portal, I hadn't thought about it like that before. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on Synecdoche, New York in a video like this down the line. Great Ideas.
Very very strange and extremely interesting film. Easily one of my favorites

he's in for 15 minutes becuase everyone is famous for 15 minutes. Everything gets out of hand when it is longer than 15 minutes. Andy Warhol

Unlike the moron in line behind Woody Allen in Annie Hall, McLuhan would enjoy your interpretation of some of his work!
