I've personally never had a Killer cup of coffee in the Aeropress. I though like to use it while camping and traveling abroad and staying at hotels that have crappy coffee. I then tape it with electric tape and use the upper part of the Hario Skerton grinder to grind directly into it. But now I'm having some killer coffee with Kenya Burka in Hario Syphon with cloth filter. burkacoffee d o t c o m happy coffee :P
@DVN428, it is so the coffee has a chance to steep in the water longer, ergo it extract lots more flavor and oils. For the Aeropress, I think it is the way to go! Coffee baristas and Aeropress connoisseurs agree.
Thanks for the instructions-great for novices. But, what is the beautiful music playing
in the background-do you remember the name, as I'd love to know??

Looks like a rather coarse grind for Aeropress, isn't it? Can you adjust the coarseness of the Hario grinder?

Forgot to tell us how long you let it steep.

Is there a reason why you fill and mix the water and grinds using the aeropress upside down?
