  • this video kicks major ass

  • Good lord! So the Spino in JP 3 was probably a Juvenile! FUCK YOU!! T-REX FTW!

  • Spino Giga Carcha Mapu T-Rex tyranotitan Sucho allo acro bary carno manju cerato dilo utah nano ovi veloci compy micro.
  • Guys, Forget about this crap. you keep arguing over whos the biggest or whos the talles or whatever. SHUT UP AND FORGET ABOUT IT. Seriously, It's not worth arguing.

  • @TheWinner447 Spinosaurus did not eat Cretoxyrhina.

  • Biggest Ornithopods

    1.Shauntungosaurus 10m tall and 21m long

    2.Lambeosaurus 8.5m tall and 16.5m long

    3.Edmontosaurus 6.5m tall and 13m long

(The height given is when the animals are in an upright human standing position)

  • Zhuchengosaurus doesnt exist anymore and whats more the 9.1m (29ft) tall 16.6m (54ft) long skeleton (thought to be zhuchengosaurus but actually another shantungosaurus) has been smashed by a newly discovered giant shantungosaurus at 10m (33ft) tall and 21m (69ft) long and approx 30 tonnes making it the largest animal ever to walk on two legs! twice as tall as t rex and 4 to 5 times heavier!

  • Its funny how on 1:01 the person is waving even though there are 5 carnivorous dinosaurs beside him ;)

  • i like ornithophds

  • your video doesn't work

  • Love the little dude just standing there, waving. "Hello there."

    Imminent death.

  • @CSlaught02

    A lot of weed

  • @CSlaught02 spino is the biggest theropod, but his bones were hollow all he hunted was fish so he wasn't a bad ass t'rex and giga could own him easily

  • @irobot123454 Actually both Tyrannosaurus and Giganotosaurus also had hollow bones

  • @flyinghobo18 well i ment he had hollow teeth that weren't good for ripping fleash in large bits

  • @flyinghobo18 But T.rex had a hollow skeleton reducing its weight without significant loss of strength.

  • @flyinghobo18 The Tyrannosaurus did not have hollow bones nor Giganotosaurus they both had lizard like hips and solid structures. Hollow bones could not support their girth or muscle mass. Velociraptors and other Raptor species had hollow bones though.

  • @umbob56 All theropods are saurischian. Tyrannosaurus and Giganotosaurus had hallow bones. Just because an animal has hollow bones doesn't make their structure weak.

  • Comment removed

  • @irobot123454 Almost every Dinosaur had hollow bones, but Tyrannosaurus and Giga are still heavier and more powerful than Spino.

  • @Bernieo153 thas good!!! yay!!=[)

  • @irobot123454 thats part of the reason the other reason is bc of the spinos jaw if he bit a dinosaur the size of the giga or trex he would lose his teeth

  • no fyi the spino ate shark to so they are a bad asses plus the shark that they ate was 25 ft long der da der

  • no fyi the spino ate shark to so they are a bad asses plus the shark that they ate was 25 ft long der da der and they could not own the spino because the spinosaurs could break there spine making it paraliezed then crush its wind pipe making them daed

  • @CSlaught02 T-rex is not bigger than Carcharodontosaurus, and Spinosaurus was the largest.

    1. Spinosaurus

    2. Carcharodontosaurus

    3. Giganotosaurus

    4. Tyrannosaurus

  • @crispysmith11 ur retarded ive known since i was 2 :P

  • @CSlaught02

Wow...you must be about 12 years old then? Giga was discovered about 10 years ago. Look it up. Don't call me retarded unless you know what you're talking about, troll.

  • @crispysmith11 im pretty sure i know more than u

  • @CSlaught02

Obviously not. Go to Wikipedia, or any other reliable dinosaur site. All of them will say that Spinosaurus is the biggest.

  • @crispysmith11 PS: Giga's bigger than all :P

  • @crispysmith11 giganotosaurus is the 2nd largest one

  • @megaraptor456

Carcharodontosaurus is actually bigger than we previously thought.

It's bigger than Giganotosaurus. Giga is #3 and one of my favourite dinosaurs.

  • @CSlaught02 you dumdass spino is the biggest

  • @CSlaught02

thank u finaly som sence gig was alot biger than spino but rex was only 12m and charch was 13-14

  • @CSlaught02 the largest fossil of a theropod is actuly touring around the world.. and its is a fossil of a spinosaurus aegyptiacus look it up...

  • @originalbrodyg420 thats because spino is the longest therapod, but that is only to balance out his spine as well as to propel himself through the water. ergo, what ever condescending implications you are making against other therapods dont really mean much.

  • @CSlaught02 are you that slow

  • this is the order

    1.tyrranotitan tyrannosaur/carcharodontosauride

    2.spinosaurus

    3.Tyrannosaurus rex-because MOR 008 is 48.3 feet long

    4.giganotosaurus

    5.carcharodontosaurus

  • @TheMrchance244 Lulz . Length wise:

    Spinosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Bahariasaurus, Giganotosaurus, Tyrannosaurus.

    Mass wise:

Spinosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus/Tyrannosaurus (depends on MOR's true size), Giganotosaurus, Bahariasaurus.

Dont belive? Ill prove it a message, and Tyrannotitan is 'only' 12m or so.

  • Fuck yea, Science. I didn't realize the Dinos were the origin of shitty vocals and mediocre Metal.

  • @rjmajor323

Just as I have previously stated I originally had Buffalo Springfield :). Of course they are not metal but I still enjoy that song. When Youtube took the original song off they offered a dry selection of replacements. I picked All That Remains because the length of the song matched the length of the video.

  • love the presentation, hated the music, kinda caught me off guard

  • @iurak6868 I originally had Buffalo Springfield - For What Its Worth but Youtube thought it would be funny if they would go right on ahead and take away my music :)

  • I never knew Ornithipods got so big 0___0

  • i need the links or URLs to those pics!

    they are EPIC!

  • that picture of spino looks cool.

  • well, in my opinion, spinosaurus have a smooth jaw so it feasted on fish :|

  • hmmm.... orithopods scale is overestimated

Wait, wait, spinosaur's huge scale is based on a small piece of jaw and a part of dorsal spin

  • Erm, what about Saurophanganax? I thought it was bigger than T-rex!

  • I think that spino is just th longest and gigantosaurus is the winner, sorry to get you mad.

  • Shantungosaurus was bigger than lambeosaurus, it could grow up to 16 meters long(shantungsaurus)

  • in other facts they say mapusaurus whas bigger than t-rex

  • Sauropods had hips like lizards, Ornithopods had hips like birds.

  • were is tarbosaurus?

  • which pod is the supersaurus in? tell me please and if it is in one of the ornithopods it should be number one because of its clearly enourmus size and in theory, when attacked by predators, the supersaurus would kill a tyranosaurus, i think that its exxaderated and it would only scare it off though.

  • Supersaurus was a Sauropod

  • @HyperChief117 Supersaurus didnt live at the same time as the t-rex

  • it could crush a tyrannosaurus maybe

  • the chart is right spino was f-ing huge but lacked power as some of the other preditors

  • scientists have been researching on the gigantosaurus and the giga can possibly be longer in some cases.

  • where the hell is argentinasaur

  • that is a sauropod, these are ornothopods.

  • THAT IS A LIE!!!! Spinosaurus is no were near that size!

  • Spino was 4m longer than its nearest rival, Carcharodontosaurus.

  • spinosaurus is the biggest of all carnovoire dinosaurs. It whas about 16-18 metres long, so it´s thrue.

  • 0:57 thatz a correct skala

  • well really 8t min, 9t average and 12t max, the marocannus version of spino was 6-8t

in weight and about 14m long though

  • i still believe allasaurus should be on there

  • Allosaurus was actually a medium-sized therapod, not nearly big enough to compete with the top 5.

  • allosaurus maximus was 40 ft long and had from 3.5 to up to 4 ton so in fact he is a big theropods

  • Ok, he was biggish but there were plenty of therapods bigger than Allosaurus.

  • you forgot the long necs

  • how big is that mapusaurus thing? to me it looks smaller than acrocanthosaurus

  • sue have a skull of 4.7 ft long 2 inches more than the average skulls about 4,5 that why Sue is 42.7 ft long and not 40 ft long but The world's largest Tyrannosaurus rex skull, unearthed nearly 40 years ago in eastern Montana, is now on display at the Museum of the Rockies at Montana State University in Bozeman this skull is 3inches longerst that sue so this 3inches became 4.3ft long so 42.7+4= 46.7ft 46.8ft or 14m long but in eny case rex gets 4 place because Carch. is 14.4.m long

  • why always that stupid music?

  • If you don't like it then just turn off the sound.

  • I liked it. But my ears were bleeding from the 'music' afterward.

  • gay ass music no offense

  • hahaha what the fuck ever dude

  • annoying music

  • you mean beautiful music ;)

  • t-rex is only 12m that not right t-rex was at 13.5m and more

  • spinosarus was te igest dinosaur ever wlalked earf lol

  • th giganotosaurus should be the biggest

  • but it isnt and shouldnt

  • learn speaking plz

  • The spinosaurus pic is awesomely cool!!

  • Whats strikes me as odd is how the spinosaurus ever grew so big...i mean to support such a huge body it would have tohave eaten A LOT of shallow water dwellers...(The only things, it seems, a spino could really eat when u look at the shape of the skull and design of the teeth..)

As shallow water animals where usually quite small, the only way a spino population of any reasonable size would survive is if their was a very large supply of 'em

Mybe thats how they died out..lack of fish? possible..

  • in spino's time there were fish that could exeed 6m

  • Whats the deal with the theropod size scale chart, Carcharodontosaurus and Mapusaurus look anorexic and Spinosaurus is portrayed at around 50 feet, not 55 feet long and the skull of Tyrannosaurus looks about 6 feet long instead of 5 feet.

  • I agree, the skull of the Tyrannosaurus appears to be larger than what its sapposed to be. And Mapusaurus and Carcharodontosaurus do appear to be more slender.

  • y did these dinosaurs grow so big?

  • Because they could, and thats the truth. :P

  • well, someday paleontologists will find a dinosaur even bigger than spinosaurus :l

  • It's always a possibility

  • i agree with ScourgeofInfidels about spinos size was to intimidate to stop it being killed by other large carnivores such as carchy nothing would ever of happened like it was in jp3 where the spino killed the rex

  • wait i thought giganotosaurus was the largest predator, and the spyno 2nd? lol seems i don't know shit about dinos(well a litle but not so much)

  • giganto, tranno, spino, allo are kings of land.

    Now ocean -

    Lipleurodon, Megalodon, shoinosaurus,mososaurus and kraken.

  • 00:52 the picture is fantastic

  • Spinosaurus was freaking huge, it needed be to intimidate predators stronger than him, like carcharodontosaurus.

Btw, size charts need another update with Carcharodontosaurus iguidensis, another species who coexisted with C. saharicus and was slightly larger than him, about the same size of Giganotosaurus carolinii.

  • I am with u on that the Spino's best Skeleton destoyed on WW2 but at least be realistic true scientist are making big progress they have ended to the conclusion that it was 18 m estimated:)

  • is funny because that waht happen wiht carcharodontosaurus

  • wht the..?? i dont even unterstand wht a fuck are u talking about

  • and also that meat must come from a verdebrae based animal.

  • is there any chart with ornithopods, theropods and sauropods? would have been quite interesting XD

  • Tyrannosaurus -Rex still has the bigger Force of any other theropod .

  • I liked your video, but I have a question. Is this measured by by length or mass? If length, then it would go: Bahariasaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, and Spinosaurus (according to wikipedia, but it may or may not be right.)

  • I'm not sure myself, but I believe it may be both.

  • giganotosaurus was not the biggest it was spinosauras it reches 50 feet and gigantosuars retched 43 and t-rex rethch 40

  • i believe the largest to date tyrannosaurus, found by John "Jack" Horner measured 46 ft, making it more massive then spinosaurus. 1-1, I think it would out do it too.

  • Largest spinosaurus was 50 feet or sumthin' so that still makes spinosaurus bigger

  • Spinosaurus was longer, yes, but Tyrannosaurus was more robust and heavy set, and massive is the word I used. Strength wise, I believe a T-Rex would've won that fight, the first clamp to the Spino's neck would have been it.

  • Spinosaurus was not only longer, it was also heavier. About 8 or 9 tonnes in weight. Tyrannosaurus was still more strongly built and robust though.

  • SPINO. is longger abot 50 or 55 feet but this is a fase size because like allosaurus it tail was more than 50% of it body

  • ya but look at this jist look ........

the last spino found was 60 ft in lenght and his head alone would be 8 ft long almost doubling the head of a t rex. and teeth over 5 inches in lenght he was more agile scince he was more lightly built. like nannotyranus the t rex killer in jurassic fight club in history channel....

  • Do your research, no complete skeleton of Spino was found, even the original from early 1900's wasn't nearly complete and those were destroyed in WWII, only estimates have been given and no true size can be accounted for. And nannotyrannus on Jurassic fight club was an adult and it wasn't much larger than a juvenile T-Rex, Tyrannosaurus is still concidered by most scientists to be the most powerful of the large theropods, its jaw strength hasnt been matched yet.

  • YA BUT thats why they used other dinos from its family like suchomimus baryonyx and other ginks so that might explain spinos size however i do agree in t rex's bite and all

  • well since you say that spino may not be the biggist dinosaur it may not have been bigger than t-rex for example cuz what you say does make alot of scence.

  • yeh but in 2005 another incomplete skeleton of spino was found and using some method that i dont know estimated it at 18m long, 6m tall (head) and 9-12 tons

  • they really don't know because he was so long and tall but at the same time he was very [ slim ] also if he was 12 ton that will be really bad for this animal because it will slop hin down they stimate for spino to be 7ton or 8 ton at max 9 ton no more but we really dont know only GOD know and he is not tallking XD

  • first of all he dont exist, but an idea for how spino could be 9-12t is that he could swim, 7-8t is the estimate for spinosaurus maroccanus which is more lightly built than aegyptiacus

  • Comment removed

  • Giganotosaurus is the biggest carnivore al time!

  • lol no hes not liplurodon is....

  • Actually spinosaurus is bigger, and fish eating is still carnivore :P

And if you don't say on land, then the spermwhale is bigger.

    @xplorersam

Sorry but walking with dinosaurs overdid it with liupleurodon... He wasn't that big...

  • Ups... forgot about basilosaurus... :P

  • basilosaurus was longer but not bigger than liopleurodon. especially the weight was very different: lio: 150t, spermwhale: <100t

btw spermwhale and liopleurodon can both grew up to a length of 25m

  • Check wikipedia... Or google it. You won't actually find any fosills bigger than 14m for liupleurodon. I don't know why BBC made it 25m in the series walking with dinosaurs...

I also was dissapointed after I googled it.

  • Actually, the blue whale eats krill which are techinically living animals, so the blue whale would be the largest carnivore of all time...

  • This is largest Theropods not Carnivores

  • I know, but the comment I am replying to said " Giganotosaurus is the biggest carnivore of all time "

    : D

  • Well then I don't know why did you reply to me with that one... As I already said, the spermwhale is bigger if you count in all animals, not only theropod dinosaurs. And the blue whale isn't actually a carnivore.

And for all that gave me thumb down, cause I've said that there were no fossils of liupleurodon found bigger than 14 m... Well cry about it. Thumbs down still won't make me wrong :P

  • I don't know what happened either..I was sure I replied to the right one.

  • actually to be a true carnivore you have to eat red meat.

  • oh yeah tyranosaurus rex is my favorite

  • crossbow u idiot how can u think giganotasauraces didnt exist u rtard

  • In Giganoto pic it has too big head, and it's more beautiful! And in T-rex pic there was Giganoto or Charcarodonto! (Therizino is a plant-eater!)

  • lambeosaurus larger than shantungosaurus???

  • it is

  • I thought Tyrannosaurus Rex was smaller the Gigantosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus...

  • Well, acording to the most recent ifo I heard±

Spinosaurus 16/18 metres, 6 to 12 tons! This is not confirmed however. I read some articles about giant spino skulls, but they turned out to be exaggerated.

T.Rex 14.4 metres 8/9 tons. New specimens uncovered by Jack Horner. Biggest complete, Sue and Rigby´s Rex, both 12.8 metres.

So acording to newest materials. 1 Spino, 2 Rex, 3 Giga, 4 Carcharo, 5 Mapu.

  • T.Rex still owns everyone in term of power though. Research indicates a bite force between 18.3 and 23.5 tons. It was also much faster then researchers thought. With a minimun calculated top speed of 27 km and a max of 40 km/h. This indicates that Rex was a hunter, and a scavenger.

  • Yup it didn't exist, that's why they definitely didn't find any of it's remains :P

  • Lmao! This is about length, Crossbow. So the Spinosaurus' sail doesn't matter anyway.

  • What giganotosaurus doesnt exist, is this true?

  • No lol I was joking. Of course It exist :D

  • Ah i thought so, ui just wernt sure if you was being sarcasitc lol :P

  • no one really knows but 4 me it goes 1.spino,2.giga,3.t-rex,4.carcha,5.mapu,6.tarbo,

    7.allo,8.alberto,9.theriz,10.deinonychus.

  • nope, not at all (Thank you Chordate anatomy course!)

  • T-Rex is bigger than Carcharodontosaurus

  • Yeah but not by too much.

  • yes but still bigger so this graph is incorrect also Spinosaurus wasn't that big, and Keith Rigby's T-Rex is bigger than Giganotosaurus, so T-Rex is still the biggest

  • Rigby's Rex isn't nearly as big as it was first estimated. More recent estimates are at the most of 11 meters. And yes, according to the newest data, Spinosaurus was infact that big.

  • and where did you hear this?

  • I sent you a link

  • Rigbeys Rex was 12.8 meter, so equal to Sue. The biggest T.rex yet found, is recently uncoverd by Jack Horner. It's estimated at 14.4 meter long and about 8000-9000 kilos. It's not sure however, because the fossils have been uncovered recently and have not been studied very long. This places T.rex second to Spino, who was between 16 and 18 meters, and 9000-12000 kilos. I hope this helps.

  • hey thanks for the info, so it's Spino, T-Rex, then Giga? ah i knew T-Rex was bigger than Giga, thanks again

  • Well, it's not for 100% sure. But there is a big chance that T.rex could have been larger than Gig. As far as I know it's 1 Spino, 2 T.rex, 3 Gig, 4 Carcha, 5 Mapu (he's not that big)

  • yeah i'm actually still shocked that rigbys rex wasn't as big as they thought, hmm is spino really that big or is it just a guess?, plus wasn't mapusaurus the carnosaur they found in argentina and took forever to name?

  • Spino being that big is a bit of a guess, but they have found a GIANT skull of a Spino that strongly suggests a 16-18 and maybe even bigger Spino. But no complete specimen has been found.

And I dunno if Mapu that carnosaur. I think so, though.

  • Do you have a link that you could show me by any chance?

  • I couldn't find a link, because it's PDF.

Just look on google, and this is the title

NEW INFORMATION ON THE SKULL OF THE ENIGMATIC THEROPOD SPINOSAURUS

Open it and you will find lot's of info.

This isn't about the biggest skull, but I couldn't find that link. If I'll find it I'll send it to you.

  • Thanks much :)

  • Hey thanks for the video response! I rated it! XD

I have one question though...Why is Anatotitan not in the largest ornithopods list? It was much larger than Edmontosaurus...
