The clouds are the thing I always notice the most when I go back to South Florida. North Florida clouds are so flat and boring, its a whole different world once you go south of Orlando.
Nice vid! I miss living in Florida (Jacksonville) and having decent freeways. Houston's freeways are trashed and cluttered due to Frontage Roads. And it's all over Texas too. No matter what Texas city you're in, the freeways will be cluttered. They also have an annoying high-pitched whistle. I'm assuming Texas textures their concrete differently than other states.
But nice vid! I hope to live in Florida again one day!
@MarcBookPro In Texas they groove roadways and highways that have the light colored concrete. I had heard that the reason they do that is because tires don't grip that type of pavement as well as typical blacktop, so they put grooves in to reduce skidding. They do that in New York too but only on bridge decks but the grooves are bigger and spaced farther apart so the whinning isn't as high pitched. I find the high pitched whinning of the highways in texas to be quite annoying too.
