I have the iPhone 4, iOS 4.1 jailbroken with limera1n. I'm on Telstra in Australia. This app shows some towers with 2G, not sure they're in the right location, but for 3G it doesn't work, just shows 7 gray circles and one red circle (the active tower) in a circle immediately surrounding the location where I am. There's no support or webpage and the guy hasn't updated his twitter account in two months. I was actually hoping for better for $5...

Really cool that you can see you cell phone towers but how on earth do you do that?

Isnt this the same sort of triangulation technique that 911

use to track your location in case of emergency?

I think it would be really cool to use that method to track people based soley on their phone number, probably illegal though.
