  • SO much nicer than those show horses with all the pads. He/she looks happy and relaxed.

  • That is a beautiful sight. I hate to say it this way but this whole picture just says classy. There is no extreme. This is the way a walker should be. It is beautiful. It looks like a million bucks.

  • Love it! Finally a video that shows the TWH the way they should be. So sick of seeing the other pathetic show videos. My

  • One, at all shows every horse is vet checked if they even flinch or act sore to the touch the can't show. The soring is illegal at legit shows.

  • Horses do NOT need shoes, shoes cause to many problems, most race trainers and owners dont even realise, even when their horse breaks down. metal shoes prevent the hooves from absorbing the shock, thus on hard ground leads to hairline fractures which then leads to cracks which then leads to horse collapsing and breaking down. Barefoot is best, they will adjust to the conditions, lovely video! Great Horse! Thumbs up if your barefoot!

  • wow hes beautiful and he looks really smooth

  • Ah this is beautiful to see :). After all the horrible videos of Tennessee walking horses, I found this one :D! Nice job :3.

  • beautifull!!!!!

  • Beautiful! Just beautiful!

  • Can i just ask why he carries his head like he is repeativiley nodding??

  • @equestrianmehighlite That is a desireable trait -- if they're not nodding, they're not walking!

  • Wow I can't believe how smooth it looks :) beautiful horse

  • finally a video about a walker that doesnt have pads and chains :)

  • What a beautifully smooth gait.

  • @peaceniq Its cause he is barefoot! a near perfect walk there.

  • awwww! wow, gorgeous horse!

  • Respect :)

  • Good for you! That just looks weird, and uncomfortable, the length and weighted shoes.Your horse moves so smoothly, and the gait looks so comfortable and natural. As i understand it,TWH are fabulous horses for people who are a bit timid about riding, and also for people who have back troubles. Is that your experience, with temperament, for the most part?Of course every horse is different. As for the back thing, seeing how smooth the gait is says it all

  • I love horses

  • Wonderful!

  • this is beautiful <3 real Tennessee Walking ´!!!!

  • Now THAT's TWH! Thank you for posting. The crippled spiders winning in the showring are a perverted parody of what these horses are actually about. Smooth, intelligent, amazing horses.

  • @AnimalLeftist This is what the TWH was originally bred for. To carry plantation owners over long distances at a gait that was easy on the rider as well as the horse. That crap you see at Shelbyville and in the big show rings should be outlawed with the pads, chains and soring.

  • beautiful horse! love the way they movie! soo smooth(:

  • This horse is simply beautiful.

  • This looks like a lovely horse, not like the ones that have been messed about with to make them look so uncomfortable, why not just leave them beautiful as they are in their natural state? x

  • @tanya90901 We do!

  • Thank you for posting this. I just finished watching that pathetic crap when people put weights on these horses feet and whatever the hell else they do to exaggerate their gaits and I nearly puked on my computer screen. Pathetic excuses for riders too. I'd love to see one of them jump on my Warmblood/Thoroughbred cross and try riding forward with no leg...see how far that gets them...

  • This is the right way to maintain the grace and true gait of the Walking horses. The stacks create a fake gait that ruins the breed as more pacey horses do better in stacks while more naturally gaited horses do not. Get rid of the horrible stacks, celebrate the natural Walking horse. Love my Walking horses

  • Wonderful. He seems happier to not have those stupid hoof mounts on him and his tail curled up. Thanks for not abusing him :)

  • So smooth and beautiful. Love the way you are keeping it natural. Why change what nature made?

  • It is so nice to see a TWH not being sored or having their feet waited. Doesn't that look a little more natural than the horses picking their front feet up to their ears and practically walking on their hind legs? He's a nice looking horse. :)

  • This is nice to see compared to those other unatural gaits! :)

  • such a beautiful horse with a perfect gait! thank you so much for this video...this is what it should look like!

  • thats good he shoold be kept tht way

  • This looks SO much nicer than these poor show horses. This is what a walker should look like in motion!

  • I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see this. When I had horses (I'm currently in school so sold my mare) I was at a barn where a women with a "Show" walker was boarded. That poor thing had no fewer than 6" of pads and chains on his ankles 24/7. I'm glad to see not all TWH folks feel the need to force their horses into high hells and make them wear chains. You've got a nice horse there. Exactly what the breed SHOULD be.

  • glad to see TWH without wierd feet.Looks healthy, well muscled and happy to.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!! Barefoot is the only way to go.

  • very nice i wish i had one thats natural

  • Soooo much better than those shod freaks that the big lick people show off. They are so ugly and contrived and unnatural! So refreshing to see it done correctly and in naturally.

  • I like that

  • LOVE seeing a REAL TWH! THANK YOU!!!

  • i absolutly love twh i hav a mare and she is gorgoues when she walks it sometimes doesnt even look natural:o

  • Lovely....Laura~!!!!

  • Very nice. Glad to see a bare footer and even glad to see a walking horse with out pads etc.

  • Reminds me of my little TWH Mare...gotta luv these guys there just so sweet and smart

  • gosh its like their bodies stay PERFECTLY still and their legs just move right under them xD

  • Your horse is beautiful! I have a thoroughbred and a TWH! I ride him barefoot to! English saddle but either way the breed is beautiful!

  • Your horse is beautiful! I have a thoroughbred and a TWH! I ride him barefoot to! english saddle but either way the breed is beautiful!

  • this is how all gaited horses should be... naturally gaited! Its beautiful to see them go comfortably. no cheating with cruel shoes and psychotic training methods... Im not saying that gaited horses are the only horses that go through crazy unneeded and harsh training, some people in every other equestrian dicipline has done crazy stuff too and no one should resort to training a horse in any harsh and cheating way. its sick.

  • Very beautiful natural gait--just the way God made em--thank you for sharing!

  • beautiful horse!! i love his mane and tail!!

  • I Love this! natural ! this is how you ride a TWH!

  • ahh it´s amazing to see at least one TWH which is not sored!! great, thumbs up!! they are so much prettier without these horrible shoes, weights or whatever. this doesn´t look attractive at all, it looks unnatural and strange. you did a great job!

  • looks like me when i wanna get some where but dont feel like trotting xD haha!! <33 loce how graceful that was the baby was like what the heck are you looking at xD

  • Good for you =D If only there were more people in the world who can leave natural things NATURAL =3

  • He is gorgeous! And natural, just the way Tennessee Walkers should be!

  • You know... this is probably the most beautiful thing I've seen from TWHs'... just natural gaits. Very beautiful.

  • frankie is a beutifull horse.

  • SO much better than those "big lick" horses. I pity those animals.

  • It looks confortable!

  • what does barefoot mean? I don't know much about TWH sorry ^^; hehe

  • @RUSALOSHKA No shoes -- all natural, no unnatural angles, lengths and no weighted shoes. Just hooves!

  • @Bluezfool Ah, okay, thank you! I also don't like the man made gaits, it doesn't look right hehe

  • @Bluezfool

Great!! You have my deepest admiration for not torturing your horse =)

  • Amazing! I might be getting my first tenn walker who was a show horse. But he had the pads and big lick (whatever that is) and all that. He's been off the padded shoes and his hooves are finally looking normal again.

  • so nice! :)

  • so georgus :)

  • This looks very nice compared to the extrem walking horses (:

  • I am riding Tennesse Walking Horses too and I have seen a lot of terrible videos about cruelty with these beautiful horses. the walk of this horse is very nice. :)

  • Beautiful, what a lovely looking horse, and so clearly enjoying himself! This is the image which should be associated with the breed, rather than the big lick walkers

  • out of all the horses in the world i would want this breed. there amazing. i was just researching breeds of them and clicked on this. beautie. if i was to buy a horse i would buy one of these!

  • Aww that is so cute!! That is the kind of TWH that I would LOVE to own someday! Such a nice horse!! :)

  • beautiful! I love to see this and not a TWH being sored into a wrong position or their hoofs nailed to blocks ... ugh. thank god there are some people out there that are NOT into that TWH abuse!

  • cool that looks so comfortable!

  • look at hiw gorgeous that is!that gross screwed with gait is not attractive

  • THAT is amazing!

and not this weird horrible running walk. i hate those people who force their horses to walk hyperbolic spectacular.

  • Frankie looks like a dream to ride :o) I've owned Walkers for approx. 15 or so years now & can say I've never even thought about padding any of them! NATURAL is the Only way to go! Where are you all located? Virginia here....cheers

  • A true TWH i was stasrting to think they didnt exist anymore :)

  • now THAT is beautfiul

  • this is absolutely fantastic! this is what the TWH was bred to do! what an amazing contrast to all the grotesque big lick videos.

  • we have barefoot TWH to use on trail rides! such a smooth ride:)

  • This is natural for sure. I love this because for one, he is natural, two he is totally comfortable, and three the little girl you have <3 :) Hah

  • He's a beautiful horse and the care you have for him is very evident! Thank you for keeping him barefoot!

  • i ride a twh for my horse back riding lessons and i think that all horses are perfect without walking like maniacs sorry if that doesbt make any sense im sorta confussed right now

  • you rock all natural

  • i love u

    you rock all natural

  • i love u

    you rock all natural

  • Gorgous natural gate!

  • Thanks for posting a video with a normal Walker. He's a lovely boy, and moves great!

  • wow. look at how the rider barely moves in the saddle! this is what the breed is supposed to be.

  • Ahhh finally a TWH that isn't abused and contorted for showing. I love it!

  • Cute and calm! Nice horse.

  • beautiful horse. Yeah, thanks for leaving it natural, not making it look like a freak of nature when it moves. Stupid jacked up shoes

  • Gorgeous!!!! Smooth as glass!

  • beautyfull horse! one of my walkers is barefoot too.

  • thank you for posting this so every one that thinks those heavy shoes are natural can see there niot and this is one nice cared for preety natural twh

  • Stunning boy with a lovely natural gait (so why do those barbarias abuse them with those jacked up shoes?) You should be ambassadors for the breed. But shame you´ve not got helmets on!!! :-)

  • I don't want to get into a helmet debate but my concern would be more the foot apparel. no heal foot slips into the stirup and the rider is dragged.. helmets for the kids I won't argue with but for adults it's their head let them decide.

more importantly when I see how smooth their ride is I sometimes wonder why I still use quarter horses.

  • Now that is what I call a smooth gait!!! Finally the gaited horse was given justice ;o) Congrats!

    Are all your TWH's barefoot?

  • I applaud you! Those "Big Lick" horses are a joke!

  • This is gorgeous and adorable! This horse is such a beauty!!! I eould love to ride him too! (Someone else said they would love to ride him)

  • He looks great. I'd love to ride him.

  • Thank you for enjoying the real Tennessee Walking Horse and not making an innocent freak of nature.

  • lovely!

  • it is very sad to see the big lick horses. Not at all pretty and not natural looking. The day is coming , you have to believe that.

  • Now this is what a Walker should look like.

  • Lovely i wish people would see how nice a natural tenn. is. i cant go to shows anymore. the other horses make me suck.

  • Finally somebody who is treating their TN walking horse right! Good for you!

Those videos of people torturing their horses to make them walk so high make me sick.

  • Forreal I would l ike to put mine in a show shes a 3 time registered tennessee walker and shes 8 years old....but i agree!

  • What a beautiful site, horse and riders - but PLEASE put riding hats on - even if it's just the little one and stay beautiful.

  • Now that is a really nice gaited horse. All natural the way they should be. My beautiful TWH mare will also gait barefoot just like this horse. She also gaits all by herself just moving across her pasture.Love it!

  • Ppl who like to bounce around don't get it. I myself would get a TWH in a minute if it were always barefoot and had this smooth gait. I'd like to do CTR or Endurance someday.

  • this is so cool. i hate seeing the weird running walk. its not attractive. their natural gates are so much nicer than the man made gaits.

  • the running walk is just the more extended flat walk. they cant help that they do that.

  • @biffybilliamson a running walk is natural i just hate it when they do the huge steps that is just weird

  • @biffybilliamson running walks are natural man made is when they have those shoes on i think natural feels much better

  • Lmao the people look like they're made out of wax. They're like statues =P

  • lol they dont even move!

  • Oohhh! That would feel so nice for my sore back!

  • he looks like he's just gliding across the ground...a friend of mine used to own a TW but i never had the pleasure of riding her...gorogous though i must say

  • His trot looks AMAZING to sit!

  • He isnt trotting. The clue is in Tennessee WALKING horse.

  • thats not a trot. its called a flat walk.

  • lol awesome :D
