At least 3,500 people have lost everything in Riosucio and many other villages, so we are planning to go there this time with 1000 toys for the children and some 5 tons of food (rice,lentils,sugar,salt,oil,cornflour and pasta). Free medical services were provided over the period 13th July to 18th July 2008 in the rural areas of Viti Levu, Fiji by volunteers from Australia, Fiji and New Zealand as a service project of the Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation.

Sathya Sai Baba's project, begun in 1994, which brought water to more than 700 villages in the the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh (where Prashanthi Nilayam is located). The child was admitted in the Sathya Sai Baba Super Specialty Hospital at Prasanthi Nilayam, where the result of diagnose matched with the result of the previous diagnose, elsewhere. The little girl was rolled in a wheelchair for the final tests to be carried out, before the heart surgery. On testing her, lo! The doctors were surprised to find the absence of the hole. The child's health was perfect to the joy of the parents.
