He's on a chain because you have no idea what you are looking at. That's the Do Khyi/Tsang Khyi which translates to "chain dog". They are from Tibet and have a wondering sprit. My male and female roamed free in the mountains. But that's not good in a inhabited area, because if they can walk on it or see it, it belongs to them. Either a 8 foot cinderblock wall with hot wire along the base or a chain keeps these guys in. I have six pups available if you have a homestead to gaurd
